ElectricBoogaloo January 29, 2015 Share January 29, 2015 Jess helps Schmidt and Nick pitch their new business venture - the "Swuit," a suit made entirely of sweatshirt material - to entrepreneur Lori Greiner. Meanwhile, Winston and Coach decide they will invest in Cece's future. Link to comment
ElectricBoogaloo January 29, 2015 Author Share January 29, 2015 I wonder if someone should tell Nick and Schmidt that Betabrand already has a blazer and dress pants (as well as a onesie that looks like a suit) all made of sweatshirt material. Link to comment

Ms Blue Jay February 4, 2015 Share February 4, 2015 (edited) I'm sure I've seen similar grey blazers for women in that sweatsuit material. The stores don't even make a big deal out of it; it's just a more casual style option I'm sure I've seen in women's stores. My coworker also showed up to work in what I thought were 'jeans' -- they're sweatsuit material but the material is made to look exactly like jeans. She made me feel them so I could see. desertflower February 4, 2015 Share February 4, 2015 Jess: "I'm going to put it in the Goodwill bin at the school" Coach: "As lining for the bottom." Hee hee, that line made me laugh. Also, Nick's inability to speak coherently at the sales pitch. I bet they had fun filming that. 2 Link to comment

Myrna123 February 4, 2015 Share February 4, 2015 I thought this show was funny when it first premiered, but then I got so frustrated with these people in their mid-thirties being so stupid and incompetent and then they'd try to float some super special "moment" and the tone just felt all over the place. After the first season, I DVR'd the eps, but if I didn't happen to be home to watch the ep live, I ended up deleting the ep unwatched. It's like they couldn't decide whether the characters had some semblance to real human beings or not. But this season has been such a parade of over-the-top silliness that I'm really enjoying it. Nick used to just take me out of an episode with his ridiculousness, but last night I thought his nonsensical pitch was really funny. Maybe my expectations are finally in line with what I'm getting or maybe the show has found its stride, either way, I laugh my way through it. 1 Link to comment
Traveller519 February 5, 2015 Share February 5, 2015 More Winston, Cece, and Coach interaction! They play so well off one another. "This is an odd grouping" "We made the cheque out to Cece. We don't know your real name." 2 Link to comment

AncientSand February 6, 2015 Share February 6, 2015 This show is bringing the kind of funny that I thought Marry Me would bring. I still like Marry Me, but New Girl is funnier this year. Link to comment
