I got a kick out of seeing Roger in a zoot suit. And interrupting every part of the intro.

I thought the Klaus story ended a little flat. Of course the family would choose Real/Bad Klaus over the fake one the moment he disguised himself as the fake. The ending to Stand and Roger's story was a bit better, with a THIRD train hitting them out of nowhere. I just loved the design of Stan as Roger's Quato instead of the other way around.

Even a near death experience doesn't stop Stan from cheapening out. Loved that everyone fell in love with Chimbarazo while Stan had the worst time offscreen. I was surprised to see it had truffula trees (from The Lorax)

I liked the running gag of Roger stealing identities for personas. Vicente (and Roger imitating Vicente) was fun.

Come on, I couldn’t be the only one that was expecting that to happen. Especially when Klaus met someone.

Zorbing saved the day!

Klaus becoming a travel agent definitely tracks for him.

Like Virgin Airlines only flying to your bedroom!

I thought maybe they were going to send up all the people who 'conquer' Everest, but the Sherpas take all the risks and do all the work. Which was kind of the point of Vincente.

There's a quick shot of the monkey taking the skittles out of Hayley's hand at the volcano.

Rare episode where the B plot merged with the A plot at the end.

"Maybe I DID know that stores were his favorite place to sell things."

"See you in purgatory, bitchass!"

This was a real fun one! Totally like Francine that her amazing Boardwalk experience twenty years ago took place over a single weekend. And Bret "The Hitman" Hart saves the day! There's a reason that Joel McHale character wasn't gonna be Roger: he ends up eaten by a whale.

I can't believe they managed to shoehorn in Tuttle in this one. And catch all the characters in the background: Greg was with his new boyfriend, and Snot, Barry, and Toshi run by at the end.

Impeding disaster is never not funny on this show.

Hayley really does need to learn how to pick her battles. Nitpicking at everything does make you kind of a buzzkill.

Knowing Franny, it must have been one hell of a weekend.

And of course the wave was going to bounce back at the end. Should’ve let the taffy wall up lol.

Look at Frannie all sexy on the Boardwalk and hot in that bikini. I don't think she was wearing a thong, but I bet it was cut. I liked Roger's sporty outfit too. I like Skee Ball but I don't think I've played in 35 years.

Hayley is her own worst enemy sometimes. She's always sour, and when something real comes up, no one is going to believe her. I'm glad she could actually show Frannie the wave.

Were the octopi in the store behind Steve the same ones Stewie has on Family Guy?

There was a Sopranos pinball machine next to an Eight is Enough. PacMan was Beet Man.

This was an interesting episode because there wasn't really a B Plot, just interstitial scenes with everything at the boardwalk. I would have liked a flashback to Frannie 20 year ago even for a quick cut scene.

There was just a ton going on in the background even with extra characters.

She probably smoked a ton of weed and then pulled a train under the boardwalk with all the hot lifeguards.

They blew a huge joke at the end not to show the boardwalk at Bob's Burgers.

Always love a good Steve and friends episode.

The clam sauce turning Steve into the Joker was unexpected…and yet still way better than both those suck-ass Joker movies. Did get a laugh at him doing the Gary Glitter dance on the ruins of Shucks. And then him vomiting out all the clams he took for the antidote, as gross as that was.

There have been some chain restaurants in my state that opened up to super long lines. Not near me, but I'm just not into fast food like that because I'm an adult.

I also get mail from people who lived in my house before me. I got two big folders 4 years ago that seem to be photos, but I can't find an email address because it's only a last name.

I did like that Roger was the manager that Steve was so over but actually didn't really factor into the plot. I actually would have liked Steve turning into the Joker earlier and going on more of a rampage.

Love Klaus playing an OG Game Boy for whatever reason. It tickles me that he's expected to take out the garbage despite, you know, being a fish.

Why was I not surprised that Roger was both the businessman dad and his daughter? Really loved how they leaned into Roger being able to be two personas at once. (He pretends to be in Japan!) Even though I was spoiled on him showing up, having both personas hold hands fused them into Raider Dave got the biggest laugh of the episode.

The family really needs to learn not to get sucked into Roger’s little personality soap opera plots. All roads just lead to Raider Dave.

Everyone else just freezes to death. When Hayley was checking out the pastor, I was thinking "aren't you married, Hayley?"

I was going to say, 'when was Roger having a daughter?' and Hayley immediately knew it was also Roger.

Nice swing by the censors about spinning Hayley with two fingers.

Hayley is not an adult. She goes to community college sometimes, works in a sandwich shop, and is always stoned.

I did like when Hayley was in 'heaven' she woke up and just went over to the food counter to get a sandwich.

The director sounded like Tom Lennon.

I thought this might have been just plots with everyone's hobbies until Roger's persona had trauma.

I loved playing in orchestra. It was do different than concert band. You even tune to a different key. Also had something to do with me being ranked #1, but still fun.

Danuta returns too. I liked the recurring characters in the orchestra.

Jeff's side plot with the birdhouse was just enough. The party was my favorite. I liked how they totally trashed the place.

Roger having a persona with a dad makes absolutely makes no sense. Neither does having a real dad. I thought Roger was a crash test dummy and crashed on earth. I guess they made it sound like a coincidence and ChristufuhFred left back on their home planet.

Finally saw the episode. (What We Do in The Shadows took up my Monday night). Oh, THIS was the episode where Steve (and everyone else!) rolled out of the car. It was in the promo and I kept waiting for which ep it was in.

I didn’t need to see Francine and Hayley butchering a moose for female rage.

"The rage you have when bitches don't mind their own business."

Of course Klaus joins an orchestra just to get close to Danuta. Loved that he had to take up the trombone (the WORST instrument for a fish) because Buckle went with the woodwind that sat next to her. Why a trombone and not another woodwind? Because trombones are funny, and easier to animate. There were only like ten people in that whole orchestra, I loved that detail. And then the episode went to Germany, AND Klaus wasn't even involved until the end.

Roger has had more than one persona that had (human!) kids. Having one that had a dad didn't seem out of the realm of possibility.

"'Zooka Sharks!"
"Does he live around here?"

"Dang it, dad knows I can't sleep unless I know everyone's safe in their beds!"

We finally got an excuse to why Santa wants to kill Stan this year: we finally meet Mrs. Klaus, who is done with him and used Stan to make him jealous and steals him to the North Pole. Also, he's jacked and in a band now.

I needed more of Dick singing "I'm Blue." I loved everything about the sad CIA Christmas party, and Bullock's much better one. I like it when Klaus is part of the main adventure. He has Pomona boys now, too.

American Dad Christmases never disappoint. Stan unwittingly crashes Bullock’s party as Mrs. Claus’s date. And Santa’s back from the Jingleverse as a hard-bodied rocker.

Dick singing “Blue” was gold.

“It’s snowing, bitches!” Lol anything to have Lewis scream randomly.

Never thought I’d see Francine and Hayley giving Santa marriage advice. It truly is a new chapter in the relationship…at least it was until Mrs. Claus made up that story about her and Stan hooking up. Knew it wouldn’t last lol.

Wow, a cameo from Animated Seth Macfarlane!

"Hurry, get your fantasies in before the -- " smash to the theme song was great. As was Roger's blunt "this trombone tastes like shit." I love it when eps are unhinged, and this one was incredibly unhinged in the best way. Gotta love an episode that incorporates goons.

Liked Roger's Suze Orman persona, Suzy Orwoman.

I wonder how long they sat on that Minnie The Moocher parody? Klaus needs to sing more Cab Calloway. I liked that he was at January 6th, but only wanted to see pandas at the zoo.

The Minnie the Moocher homage was hilarious.

Only Jeff would get rich from a workplace accident on his first day. And OFC Stan and Francine try to take conservative ship of him only to be one-upped again by yet another Roger persona.

Hayley and Jeff really should consider getting their own place. We all know that’ll probably never happen, but they treat Jeff like crap and he just takes it because they’re the only family he has. Pretty sad.

I didn't even think there was an episode this week.

I always like when there's a callback to Hayley working at Sub Hub. That song was brilliant.

To be fair, Hayley gave Jeff the banana to keep him quiet but Frannie pointed out that Jeff slipped on them 43 times last year. Roger was locked and loaded, but he didn't plant the banana.

I know Jeff is always too stoned to be useful, but selling weed would be a good ongoing side plot. I don't think he could pull it off. Now that I think of it, my stoner roommates always worked loading the UPS trucks on the holidays because they were geniuses at beating the drug tests. That would be a good job.

We don’t even need to see anyone vomit for the squid ink paella food poisoning to be one of the grossest things this show’s ever done. Really liked how that B-plot was essentially a bottle episode.

It was good to see Morning Mimosa again. And we actually got a backstory on Trish and Suze! You know, there were a LOT of DUI checkpoints. And only this show would have a shapeshifting octopus confess to murder out of jealously on live tv and NOT have it be in the top 20 weirdest things to happen on this show.

God bless this crazy ass show.

The rest of the family getting vicious food poisoning was hilarious…although from personal experience I know it’s the seventh circle of hell. But then they were still stupid enough to eat the bad paella again, AND dump out the Gatorade they wanted so badly!

I like a good Francine plot, with Klaus in the mix this time. I appreciate any excuse for Francine to dress skimpy for most of the episode. And for Tuttle to be part of the main story.

I liked the little callbacks like Klaus's orange truck.

Using black market steroid fertilizer to mutate worms into the things from Tremors was not on the bingo card. Kevin Bacon came back! And now he's dead. I was hoping Roger's Kevin Bacon would show up, and he did! That was a great way to end the episode.

"Tremors is the only movie I was in that teaches you how to get on a roof!"

I'm not surprised Frannie could call Tuttle a pussy, but that it got by with the the teabagging. Why bleep up 'fuck' at that point?

Frannie and Roger plots are always total bonkers. I liked Frannie out of her normal outfit with the bra and jeans. Cartoon hot.

Klaus trying to impress Danuta.

That was a looooong walk for a Kevin Bacon Tremors joke. I didn't realize it was the actual actors. Good for them.

"Now that's the kind of sharing I want to hear. But from the core family." Francine is my mom, and very in tune with obscure relatives from family friends and when they die. "I should be there for her for me."

Huh, there IS a US Route 69. But it runs from Texas to Minnesota, of course Roger didn't want to drive to it.

Loved the freaky turn how Roger couldn't get back to the motel, and the reveal of how it was cursed by a caveman peeping on the first 69. I love when American Dad gets weird, and this was a good one.

So what happened to Francine after she saved her past self? Did she just vanish or is she still trapped in an alternate dimension?

Probably still is until she's replaced by a new peeper. Oh, let's say, Tuttle.

It was like her version of Rabbit Ears, including the ending where they're still trapped.

Also loved the theme song stopping because she was still in the driveway. Roger's persona was the winner of the fan-created persona contest held a few years ago, to boot.

Nice change on the opening theme with Hayley being swapped out. I'm all for a Frannie unhinged plot. And then throw in Roger.

I used to drive a LeBaron!

Wow that was Twilight Zone. What happened to the Roger stuck in the loop on the highway?

The previous peeper was the one who flipped off the vacancy switch. When Frannie and Roger first went up to the attic the guy died and passed the curse to Frannie. So I think that Frannie is still there until she lures the next peeper up.
