I Want My MBTV March 24 Share March 24 I really wanted to like this show but it's just so stupid!! The beginning "fantasy" sequence was just so obvious and such a waste of time and then everything with Lester..... what difference does it make if he made up the story Ted is already representing him he can't change that now. The only thing he can do is not put him on the stand and risk perjury but if Ted is dumb enough to put him on the stand even not knowing that..... On the original show not everyone was likable but there was charisma and sparkle and it was fun and this show is just zzzzzzzzzz and on the shallow end these people aren't as pretty or dressed nearly as well as the OG. Oh, and why with the flasbacks? I don't care about Ted in 2025 LA you want me to care about him in whatever year NY? I don't think so. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152534-s01e05-you%E2%80%99re-on-your-own/#findComment-8615620
chitowngirl March 24 Author Share March 24 I agree that there’s really no one likable here. The only one who has any spark is Leah(?), the young lawyer who knows more about entertainment than the entertainment lawyer. There was something intriguing about everyone on the original show. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152534-s01e05-you%E2%80%99re-on-your-own/#findComment-8615751

margol29 March 26 Share March 26 This show is such a let down. I just can't get interested in these characters and their story lines. The most interesting for me is the ghost brother. I want to find out what happened to him. And the promos keep teasing Harvey!!! But we are 5 episodes in and all we got was a short flashback scene with him. I will give it another episode or to and then I'm out. Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152534-s01e05-you%E2%80%99re-on-your-own/#findComment-8617454
NJRadioGuy March 27 Share March 27 (edited) Not as strong as last week's episode but at least we get more courtroom stuff, as silly as it was. I'm loving the investigator more every week, and of course Leah. No way a real defense attorney wouldn't have immediately called for a mistrial after that BS with the "reporter." And that should have been grounds for disbarment for the prosecutor. Dowel Jones March 27 Share March 27 You can't disbar a hot-looking prosecutor. It's against TV rules. Unless, of course, the defense was actually the guilty party in trying to set her up. Then the rules call for a screaming match with all sorts of confessionals about real feelings and such. Then everything resets to square 1. 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152534-s01e05-you%E2%80%99re-on-your-own/#findComment-8618633
