Just an observation.  I was watching some older episodes and Ormewood used to have 2 daughters and a son.  Wonder if they just decided 3 kids were too much to write for.

This has been mentioned elsewhere.  I really bothers me because the show seemingly has been very aware of its internal history and it'snot like we see Ormewood's kids every episode or even all that frequently.  Like, the writers of the more recent episodes just didn't go into the character's bio to see how many kids he has.  Weird.  Next they'll forget that Faith has a son.

According to IMDb, the other daughter was only in 1 episode, which was the 3rd episode of season 1. I think they just decided to retcon that to him only having 2 kids.

I am not warming to Gina Rodriguez. I can't tell if it is the writing or something else.  I feel like we need more Faith.

Given the choice between surgery in an unsterile environment and letting somebody bleed out, operating is going to be the better option because the patient can always be pumped full of antibiotics afterwards.

I would say though that the morgue instruments are likely to be sterilized between uses.  Maybe there's no danger of infection, but they'd want to avoid any possibilty of cross-contamination between bodies which might compromise test results on blood or tissue etc.
