I expect a penultimate episode to be more eventful than this.

Cami obviously will be managing M-Tex moving forward. The new VP of Operations is now forced to work closely with the new VP of Exploration. Peachy…

In her new role, Rebecca will be required to negotiate various drilling deals for M-Tex. Imagine if Jimenez from the cartel puts a bag over Rebecca’s head and holds a gun to her head, can she act calmly like Tommy did in E01?

Cooper taps into Jerry Jones’ mindset and comes out with a Delaware Basin > Clear Fork Field > WolfCamp plan. He’ll be negotiating and taking a bunch of leases & mineral rights, and package them. We will see him going head to head with Rebecca and Tommy in S02.

Angela’s antics on appreciation vs expectation are getting old. Make it stop. Geez.

Suddenly there’s a room for Ainsley in the oil house??! When she first came to visit, she had to sleep on the couch. Are Nathan and Dale sharing a room now? 🤦🏻‍♀️

Jimenez refuses to let the training mishap goes unanswered. Something bad will happen to Angela and Ainsley at the strip club. And himbo Ryder won’t be able to do anything about it.

I find myself hitting fast forward a lot during this show. I cannot handle the daughter. I don't like Angela. The daughter is just beyond what I can manage. It's painful. I don't know how long I can stomach the show while hate watching so much much of it.

Am I the only one that gets Friday Night Lights vibes everytime the theme scenes come on?

How and why does Monty think Rebecca is a "shrewd negotiator"?  She's mostly bluff, wildly delusional about how the law works, and she just got her ass handed to her by a college dropout who was in the oil business for exactly two days but managed to increase the compensation to the relatives at a rate four times higher than what she offered.

Yeah, she's a real genius.

Oh, that’s funny that you say that! Here are two DMs that I’ve sent a friend of mine about this show.

That makes no sense.  Tommy needs to get his own house.  It's just plain rude to subject the other 2 men in the house to Angela & Ainsley's antics.  It was rude of Tommy to move them in.  The other 2 guys had no say-so in the matter.  At least Angela is cooking dinner for them.  That's the only benefit to those guys!

I really don't want to be a bystander in Ainsley's sex life.  Please make it go away!!

Damn, the wife and daughter continue to grind the momentum of the show to a screeching halt every time they’re on screen.

It's true. I can actually feel time slow down when the focus is on them.

I fast-forward quite a bit too. I'm probably only watching 70% of an episode now. I'm really only interested in the oil company stuff, although Cooper's story line is getting more interesting.

Is the daughter ever going to go to school… she is 17.  Supposedly going to college after she graduates.   Sort of  have to go to school to graduate.

Cooper seems like a sensible decent  person.  Just how did his mom and dad raise the daughter? And Tommy is as much at fault as Angela because he just watches.   Bible study?

From what little Cooper said, I have the impression that Angela & Tommy have been divorced a long time, and that Ainsley hasn't been around her dad very much, but I agree, Tommy needs to be stricter.  He tried a few times, but Ainsley has a way of making him give in, but he needs to grow a pair and lay down the law!

Angela thinks that Ainsley will get by just fine in life as long as she's either on her back or on her knees.  She's always throwing out little tidbits on how to pimp out yourself for money.  It's really rather gross that Ainsley's character is written this way.
