New. 1/1/2025 (I think it's a leftover from last season that never aired, next week is Season 13 on the cable guide).

"Jonathan had his dream job, and he ate himself out of it; once an EMT first responder, he rarely leaves the room; his wife works full time to pay their bills; Jonathan must break the cycle of eating if he wants to keep his wife and his life."

My guess is since it's listed as season 12, it's a leftover from last season.    But at least Dr. Now's back.

They redecorated the office, so the backgrounds may look very different.   And Dr. Now grew some facial hair.

Well then. Thanks you for sharing the upcoming show announcement.  We are back!

Have been keeping up with the (no longer thousand pound) sisters and family - off topic so I’ll stop there).

A new year for Dr Now and new pounds to lose. Or not. I wonder if semiglutides will enter the picture at any point this season?

Happy New Year all.

Is the TLC season synonymous with the NEW SHOW I saw promoted on LIFETIME?  "My 6000 lb Diaries" (or something like that title? where Dr. Now also appears??

Not the same.   My 600 lb Life is on TLC, and 6,000 lb Diaries on Lifetime on Mondays, 10 episodes, 2 hours each, with Dr. Now narrating or commenting.   I was shocked that both shows are on competing networks.

However, my understanding is the cable or network programming is bought from production companies, like Dr. Now's son Jonathan Nowzaradan's Megalomedia, and not exclusive to one network unless that's the contract they have with the channel that airs it.

So, Dr. Now's son, Jonathan's production company is responsible for BOTH SHOWS?

My sense is that both know that Dr. Now is a well-recognized marketing "brand" that has a tremendous audience, SOOOOO, as Dr. Now is nearing his 80's, they're making sure that they're optimizing the "brand" by getting Dr. Now's participation in as many of these shows as possible.  Nothing wrong with that...simply pointing out the obvious.
