phalange Thursday at 09:55 AM Share Thursday at 09:55 AM The son of a cube and the daughter of an orb having a Romeo and Juliet style love affair is hilarious. I knew that’s where the plot was headed as soon as the orb said his kid was missing, too. That poor holodeck has seen things. I had to rewatch the scene of Doctor T’Ana fighting Boimler multiple times. The constant bleeping just made it funnier. Mariner did good with Ensign Olly. She’s becoming a mentor, of sorts. Second episode with no mention of the fissures. I wonder if we’ll learn more next ep or if it’s all being saved for the finale. 2 Link to comment
Tachi Rocinante Thursday at 04:55 PM Share Thursday at 04:55 PM (edited) I would love to see (hear) an uncensored version of this episode. "Also, it's red." Edited Thursday at 04:56 PM by Tachi Rocinante 2 Link to comment

Chaos Theory Friday at 12:47 PM Share Friday at 12:47 PM (edited) The cube and orb story was hilariously stupid like a lot of the two races at war being transported together on the Enter….Cerritos. Boilmer and his beard still obsessed with the alternate version of himself. I do like that everyone knows he has that pad and it’s not really a thing. Everyone is just fascinated that it is just a little different. Olly is a slightly more chaotic version of what Mariner was in season one and this episode was a good way to show that although Mariner will always be attracted to chaos she has grown a lot and isn’t the one who ends up in the brig. I am very much going to miss this show. I was initially worried way back at the pilot that it would suffer from alot of things animated series suffer from most notably the lack of cohesive stories and forward momentum from the lower deckers. You know a guy like Boilmer obsessed with ranking up being an ensign forever would have annoyed me. But Lower Decks has allowed all the characters to grow in substantial ways. This is one of the few animated series I actually think could have gone on longer. Edited Friday at 08:15 PM by Chaos Theory 6 Link to comment
