Priming okay.  My understanding of painting is that you're still not supposed to be painting over the outlet covers and half the baseboards...If she didn't care about the carpet that's fine, but smearing paint over outlet covers and baseboards (either tape up the baseboards or completely cover them in paint) is what I would describe as bad painting.

I'm pretty sure the "baseboards" weren't baseboards. I think we were looking at the bottom plate — the rough lumber at the bottom of a wall frame. I don't think it was woodwork. It was unfinished and stained (as in discolored from existing there for a long time, i.e. not treated with wood stain).

I don't know why they didn't take off the outlet covers, though. That was dumb. They didn't get near the outlet covers I don't think. Maybe Blaire cut around them with a brush. I would have taken them off.

I want to see a show where Meri's friend Jenn asks Robyn all the questions the rest of us want answers to. For example, if Robyn is so desperate for the big family, why does she avoid spending time with Meri and letting Meri see the kids?? Why do Robyn's words not match her actions??

Has anyone else noticed that they keep showing Meri, Christine, and Janelle out doing things and seeing people, and all they ever show of Robyn anymore is her either sitting on the couch in her house, or the interview couch? What else does Robyn do all day? Or is the Nanny just taking care of everything?

Did she really bite him? Usually is someone bites your hand the response is to pull it away. I didn't see that.

Yes, and clothing or not, he felt it enough to say "she bit me" (or something to that effect).

She sometimes seems a little immature for her age, but that's not uncommon for the youngest child (and she is the youngest in her immediate family).

Being immature is one thing, but isn't she 14 years old? Even if she was 13 yrs old, she should know that biting is an unacceptable behavior. And if she doesn't, then that's on Christine for not teaching her right from wrong.

Yes, it's unacceptable, so to the extent any action of our children is "on us" for not teaching them better, I agree.

I'm just not on the bandwagon that says the minutes of footage we've seen, gleaned from who knows how many hours of filming, is enough to (1) fairly judge Christine's parenting, or (2) determine "something's wrong" with Truely either as a result of her upbringing/bad parenting or a mental disorder.

I could have sworn that Christine had mentioned in some past episode that Truely was autistic. But as I google it, I realize that never actually happened. Truely did wear a shirt for an autism organization in a couple of episodes, but that doesn't mean anything. Gwendolyn has spoken about being autistic, so the shirt on Truely could have been because of that connection.

I give Truely a lot of slack.  She was literally born with a camera in her face

She nearly died under her dad's care on television.  She's watched as her dad showered love on her new half-sister and brother while she went without.

He'd force her to do things like ride a bike, she had to participate when she clearly didn't want to.  Now she's got a new man in her life whether she wants it or not.  She probably has no basis for how to interact with David, as she's never had a father figure.

She has no choice when her mom and David suck face right in front of her.  She probably feels very powerless.  I think the blue hair, the acting out, and the burying herself in books makes sense when her world is basically out of control.

Fabulous post, although it looks like Primetimer merged all your comments, which is harder to reply to.

I agree re: Truely. She's always been quirky and happy with this adjective.

Christine was pregnant with Truely during Kody's courtship of Robyn, and once born, Truely was the "baby" for a hot second, until Robyn birthed her special" babies.

Also, Truely often was silly and fun in Vegas, then appeared not fully engaged in Flagstaff, but then after COVID hit, and shone a light on us all, Truely appeared sad and introverted.

So I agree, when one's environment is chaotic and/or not controllable, we look to things WE can control, be it our physical appearance, our personal living space, etc.

I think she will get through this phase because she has so many older siblings who seem to regularly check in on her.

I think Kody would have been fine if Meri left and he had a sham marriage to Christine and a lukewarm buddy rapport with Janelle. I don’t think he saw all three leaving coming.

Kody would only agree with a wife leaving, especially Meri,  if she stated the choice or reason was all on her.

Kody never wanted Meri to publicly leave because he initially didn't want people hearing that he didn't love Meri, or wasn't being a husband (Meri would have told fans she was in love and he wasn't).

After the divorce, and then the catfish, I'm sure Kody was fine with Meri leaving because he could milk the catfish betrayal. But then again, look how angry he was with Christine even though she stated the obvious, the relationship was over.

I don't think Primetimer merged the comments. Most of us use the multi-quote function (which is the little plus sign button underneath the posts, to the left the of the quotation mark button), which allows us to respond to multiple people in one post.

When you quote someone, while you're composing your post, you can delete the parts of the quoted posts that you don't want to address (like I did to yours above).

Now I'm just going to quote @Orcinus orca, to show you that the multi-quote is intentional.
