Chomp Shop Cardboard Cutting Tool- A kid-friendly cardboard cutter. Seeking $250,000 for 5%.   Works like a fast hole punch, safe for kids to use.  You use the band saw device to make shapes.  They’re working on a monthly subscription project.  Target market is 8 +.     Sales- pre-launched a year ago, sold $2.1 million in pre-sales, for almost 10,000 units.   Margins are good, only sales direct to consumer, and add the monthly idea subscription for pojects.  Rashaun is out, too early for him.  Kevin offers $250,000 for 20%.  Barbara offers $250,000 for 20%.  Mark offers $250,000 for 15%. Lori says go in with Mark for the same money and percentage $250,000 for 15%.

Chalkless Grip Enhancer-a way to strengthen one's athletic grip. Liquid brushes on grip to help you grip handles better.   Seeking $400,000 for 4%.   A grip material that lasts.  Sales $740,000 for the current year so far.  It’s legal in the NBA.  Margins 67%.   They have two patents and two more in the works. They need marketing help.   Mark is out.  Rashaun is out.  Barbara is out.  Lori is out.  Kevin offers a royalty $400,000 for $2.50 per item until $4 million, then royalty drops.  

Kevin makes the offer for the royalty deal, $400,000 for $2.50 royalty, Rashaun goes in 50/50 on the deal.  Rashaun has access to lots of pro athletes for endorsements. 

 

Creator Camp- Summer Camps for creative content camp for kids.  Seeking $350,000 for 5%. Teaches creative computer work for kids to learn and have various courses, design, coding, etc.   Encourages creativity and collaboration.  Sales $60,000, year 1, year 3 $300,000, current year to date $840,000.  They have 27 locations, partner with schools, community centers, etc.  20 kids per camp for three-day sessions, in multiple locations.   Currently only in Texas, expanding to D.C. area next summer.  Mark is out, a conflict for him.  Lori is out.  Kevin is out.  Rashaun is out.  Barbara wants to turn it into a franchise, for quick scaling, offering $ 350,000 for 20%.  

Deal with Barbara, $350,000 for 18% for franchising the camps. 

 

Y’all Sweet Tea- a refreshing twist on sweet tea. Seeking $500,000 for 5%.  They use influencers, southern grandmas, and have millions of followers.   They have sweet and unsweet in various flavors.  Sharks love the flavors.  Sweetened with whatever you want.  Each package makes 10 gallons of tea.  $10.3 million in sales since 2021.  2024 $3 million, projected at $5 million plus.  85% direct to consumer, in 600 grocery stores in the southeast.  Mark is out.   Barbara is out. Rashaun offers $500k for 10%. Kevin and Rashaun $500,000 for 15%  for investment and distribution help .   Lori wants to partner with Rashaun, $500,000 for 15%.  Lori, Rashaun and Kevin offer 20%.  Kevin and Rashaun offer 15% for 500,000.   

Deal with Lori and Rashaun for $500,000 for 15%. 

 

Buttercloth made a deal with Robert,  $58 million in sales since the deal with Robert.  They have a men’s and women’s shirt collections.  Jay Leno is in their commercial.

(I like that Rashaun doesn't jump at sellers that I think producers picked because they think he'll go for them, and that Rashaun explains why he's not going to invest in a certain product).

Better than last week

 

They all got deals?  Doesn't happen often 

 

Cardboard cutter is kind of neat but pretty pricey. 

The grip stuff is innovative the question is does it work better than chalk?   Chalk is..... dirt cheap l, almost literally. I can't see it being used over chalk unless it's better. Sure great it's not as messy but unless it works better will be a tough sell.

Every week they just get worse in the race to the most ridiculous valuation, when will we see the $1 million for 1% ask, you know it's coming. This show is in serious danger of eating itself it's so far up its own ass now.

This is the first week in a while where I thought the products were good ideas. The cardboard cutter really was an innovative tool if it allowed safe cutting by kids.

Admittedly, I was paying only half attention, but who is the market for the "not chalk" stuff? Weightlifters? Gymnasts?

The cardboard cutter really just seems like a modification on a jigsaw, but good for them for developing it.

The advantage the sweet tea company has is that they don't bottle it but put it in a filter paclk sp easy to brew/make.

I was really happy for the buttershirt guy as I really liked him when he originally made his pitch.  Robert seems to do well with his clothing investments.

Didn't really care about the summer camp-anyone can really develop their own version and if they're dependent on churches/schools that have space available they are at the whim of the organizations.

Don't know enough about having to use grip stuff, but if they bring in a well known athlete as an investor/spokesperson they will probably find a sizable market.

I use a similar product golfing on very warm days so my golf club doesn’t go flying like their baseball bat!! ( I checked it out in Amazon but the reviews weren’t very good) .  also pole dancers 😉

I’ve seen a lot of people in yoga classes use chalk. Especially when you are a beginner slipping is an issue. 
 

I loved the cardboard cutter thing. It’s so clever to develop something that can utilize material that everyone has too much of. Plus cutting cardboard with scissors is a real pain.

The cardboard thing is a great idea. DH pointed out that it would be great for high school theater too.

 

I wasn't a fan of Rashaun. Too money money money for me.
