Elizzikra November 16 Share November 16 Kimberly needs Al Anon. And a financial advisor. How on earth is she going to pay a $1500 mortgage when she brings home $1600? 4 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150621-s07e07-life-after-lockup-the-sex-whisperer/#findComment-8509209

I was like “who is approving that?” Those aren’t cheap cars they’re driving either, and she has two young kids. The math ain’t mathing. Does she only work part-time? Daniel admitting he knew nothing about a woman’s body was troubling. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150621-s07e07-life-after-lockup-the-sex-whisperer/#findComment-8509428

She is a teacher’s assistant so it’s a pretty low wage job. I just remembered that she receives what - $2,300 in child support monthly. I believe that she can count that as income on a mortgage application, so that helps. But then if the older kid turns out to be Joey’s, not only does her monthly child support get cut, she is on the hook to pay back about $20,000 in support she received for Kasen in the past. I don’t know what Kimberly’s ex is like but he has to be a step up from Joey in the father department, right? 5 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150621-s07e07-life-after-lockup-the-sex-whisperer/#findComment-8509517

PrincessPurrsALot November 19 Author Share November 19 The issue with including child support in the mortgage eligibility is that it will likely end long before the mortgage is paid off. Kim wants to buy a house based on the idea that Joey will get a job and start contributing to the household income. I think we all know he is better at spending than earning. After all, he's too good for any job that will have him, what with his extensive experience as an addict and felon. He has so many skills to bring to a company. If he was willing, like Louie, to start at the bottom and hustle, it would be different. He learned a skill in prison and could use it, start at entry level, prove himself by working hard, and work his way into a solid career. That, of course, would depend on him being reliable and not stoned out of his mind. So, yeah, that's not going to happen. 2 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150621-s07e07-life-after-lockup-the-sex-whisperer/#findComment-8512197

I believe, for income tax purposes, child support counts as income but I'm not positive. That's more what I was wondering. Joey is definitely better at spending than he is at earning. Too bad he can't get a job that involves spending money he doesn't have. Remind me what skill Joey supposedly learned in prison. ChristmasJones November 26 Share November 26 The chick with the parents who are pastors is seriously unhinged. I was thinking she needs to book a therapy session and bring this episode in to show the therapist (and herself). I would enjoy an episode where they show clips like this and have the folks react to them. 4 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150621-s07e07-life-after-lockup-the-sex-whisperer/#findComment-8518177
