The Jackal’s name is Charles (is this his real name though?) and he has a normal family — a wife (Nuria) and a 2yo kid (Carlito), complete with annoying MIL and BIL. They live in a mansion in Cádiz, Spain. His wife isn’t happy when he is “in the zone”. Am not looking forward to the messiness that comes with the Jackal being a family man. 😣

The Jackal finds out that the client who’s withholding his payment is Elias Fest — Manfred’s son that he used as a bait. Elias hired the Jackal to assassinate his own father.

The Jackal’s next target is Ulle Dag Charles (UDC), a tech entrepreneur. The job needs to be done by the 28th, before the official release of his River project.

The body keeps piling up on Bianca. Three deaths so far — 2 officers in that botched ops in Belarus and Emma (Alison’s daughter). 🤦🏻‍♀️

Bianca is going to get hers for being responsible for Emma’s death and then lying to her poor mother. This is exactly what’s wrong with these intelligence offices; always thinking the ends justify the means and that collateral damage is just not a big deal.

I am usually not the type who dislikes the female characters in dramas as sort of a default setting but  I hate the police woman and the Jackals wife is annoying as hell, a mix of the sexy kitten and passive-aggressive bitch. His whole family really with exception of the baby makes my teeth grind.

It doesn't help that I am watching the second season of Arcane at the same time which has most excellent and compelling female characters

These writers are daring, I'll give them that.  To have a main character more morally repugnant than a hired assassin is quite a feat.  I hope Emma's mother hires the Jackal to kill Bianca.  Maybe he gives discount rates?

So Elias hired TJ to off his daddy, but then withheld payment because he got shot in the process?  I guess Elias won't be around that long.

It was cute seeing Bianca and TJ having to leave family events because of demanding work schedules.

The only character I find intriguing is the woman working for Spectre/KAOS.

I believe they made it sound like the girl would have died anyway because of a heart condition.  But yeah, not telling the mother until she gets the info is terrible and it backfired on her.
