Daff November 4 Share November 4 Each episode passes so quickly. I’m really enjoying this and Judith’s understanding of events/clues through her knowledge of history. Becks and Susie just take her facts and run with them, as they all seem to be on the same page. This contrasts with the police, who seem to always be at odds with each other. (I would love to wipe that smug, arrogant smirk off the one officer’s face). I’m not at all surprised by the recent turn of events, as it is fiction after all. 5 Link to comment
Shelbie November 4 Share November 4 I’m really enjoying the mix of characters. A very pleasant way to spend 45 minutes. 6 Link to comment
Daff November 5 Share November 5 An all too fast 45 minutes! I could watch a feature length movie of this several times over (remember when some of these serials were 1:30?). 4 Link to comment
seacliffsal November 5 Share November 5 Am really enjoying this! All three women have unique and essential skill/knowledge to bring to their 'club.' Don't care as much for the detective sargeant, but there's still time for me to grow to like her. Beautiful scenary as well. 3 Link to comment

The DS has my sympathy because her entire squad is mocking her at every turn. She’s so frustrated with them, she resorted to burying the other leader’s items in the office. Don’t think she’ll win acceptance via consulting the women’s club, but at least they’re not mocking her every move. 2 Link to comment
proserpina65 November 6 Share November 6 I'm glad I stuck with the show because this episode was a huge improvement. Maybe it was the bringing together of all three women which made it work better. I wasn't particular interested in any of their stories separately. Link to comment
Daff Sunday at 09:29 PM Share Sunday at 09:29 PM I thought it was effective, showing us the other women’s place in the community, their jobs, frustrations, and how they each interact with others. Now, by bringing them together, we see how they “fit”. I didn’t particularly like the Rev’s (vicar’s?) wife, but after this ep, I’m happy she’s getting involved. I’m glad she has perked up. (Those shiftless kids are bound to move on sometime in the next few years). 3 Link to comment
