Which elicited Graham Norton's prissy face™, which is always perfectly timed and never fails to please. Or maybe it was super funny to me because I was wondering the exact same thing but grokked about a mlilisecond before he asked. 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150406-graham-norton-all-episodes-talk/page/2/#findComment-8570434
StatisticalOutlier February 3 Author Share February 3 Oh, and Miss Grande? Where do you get off using your phone to take a video during the movie? You're rich--in the future please rent an entire screen for yourself if you simply can't follow the rules expected of everyone else. It's not cute, regardless of how old your grandmother is. Just when I was thinking she was kind of cute with the pineapple. 1 1 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150406-graham-norton-all-episodes-talk/page/2/#findComment-8570868
StatisticalOutlier February 3 Author Share February 3 And one more comment (I didn't think this was a stellar show, but it's proving to be memorable): I loved the white cuffs on Reese Witherspoon's black dress. That always looks so cute. And her story about jury duty--I have the impression that the part about the jury electing her foreman because she'd been to law school (ahem) was planned, but I think diverting into the merits of the dog bite case was spontaneous, and it's what I love about this show. It was like we were in her living room. Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150406-graham-norton-all-episodes-talk/page/2/#findComment-8571539

It was like we were in her living room. What most struck me about that story was that the trial lasted for 2 weeks - for a dog bite! I've served as a juror multiple times and a murder trial I was on lasted for 6 days which included 2 days of deliberations. Good old Beverly Hills. 🙄 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150406-graham-norton-all-episodes-talk/page/2/#findComment-8572051

And she said it was every day for two weeks. That's ridiculous—and a gigantic waste of taxpayer money and time. No wonder no one wants to serve on a jury. 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150406-graham-norton-all-episodes-talk/page/2/#findComment-8572075
MicheleinPhilly February 5 Share February 5 She's not wrong about how little people know about the law. Based on my experiences in the jury room, if I was to ever commit a crime and be put on trial for it - BENCH TRIAL - 100%. I would have been so pissed if I had to sit there for 2 weeks listening to 2 rich people go back and forth over a freaking dog bite. 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150406-graham-norton-all-episodes-talk/page/2/#findComment-8572828
StatisticalOutlier February 16 Author Share February 16 I seem to recall that Robert DeNiro is always a zero on this show. And the story about him at Elton John's house thirty years ago. So Elton has a new boyfriend of three weeks who likes movies so he calls around to see what movie stars are in town, and one of them is De Niro, who is a stranger, but he goes to Elton's house anyway for a very small dinner party. The whole thing seemed so sad. Or maybe ridiculous. Or maybe both. 4 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150406-graham-norton-all-episodes-talk/page/2/#findComment-8581986
sharifa70 February 16 Share February 16 Yeah, the only one I was truly happy to see was Holly Willoughby; she’s had a rough couple of years so it’s nice to see her getting back to work. The whole couch just seemed a little flat for me. 1 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150406-graham-norton-all-episodes-talk/page/2/#findComment-8582062
StatisticalOutlier February 16 Author Share February 16 I'll add that I was touched by Graham's obvious sincere affection for Cyndi Lauper. But her appearance didn't do much for me, because she was just advocating. I'm here for hilarious or at least embarrassing anecdotes. Similarly, Brandi Carlile spent a bunch of time talking about how much she's adored Elton John for her whole life. I kind of like it when someone on the couch turns out to be a fanboy of another guest, but these two came on the show as a duo. Maybe this is why the couch lacked zing. Even Allan Carr couldn't rescue it. 5 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150406-graham-norton-all-episodes-talk/page/2/#findComment-8582429
dubbel zout February 16 Share February 16 Every so often the show gets very "luvvy," and it's hard to get off that once it starts. 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150406-graham-norton-all-episodes-talk/page/2/#findComment-8582451

I was so disappointed; I think Allan is a great "chat" guest. 4 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150406-graham-norton-all-episodes-talk/page/2/#findComment-8583737

John and Carlisle took themselves way too seriously for this light-hearted chat show. Lighten up guys, you created a cool pop album. 4 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150406-graham-norton-all-episodes-talk/page/2/#findComment-8583741
