There are ways in which I am her.  Without the homicidal tendencies.  So, I find her sympathetic.  That bully who still makes your stomach drop, ten years later.  The sister who will sell a house right from under you, because she wants to buy a place.

If the sister can get herself a place with "half" the money from the sell of the house, then Rhiannon should be able to as well. If the sister lives in a foreign country, I don't know why Rhiannon would try to force her to move back to England. Rhiannon already said she hated her sister, why is she so desperate to try to live with her sister and her family.

The sister is buying in France and has a husband to (presumably) help pay the balance of a mortgage.  Rhiannon would be trying to buy a house in the UK (did they say what city it was?) all on her own, and have less options with regard to a mortgage, being single and in a (probably) not very well paid job.

There's also the whole thing of having to, I don't know, completely upend her life, pack up her belongings and try to find somewhere else to live, all in a likely short space of time.

Rhiannon's suggestion of the sister moving back in was probably just a clutching at straws effort to not have to move.

I'm mostly on Rhiannon's side, except for her (a) wanting to kill the guy who got the job, because her boss was the one at fault there and (b) being so careless and letting go of the dog.  That's on her and not the bully.

The rest though, I mean, I wouldn't encourage killing, but some of those folks definitely deserve a bit of retribution.

Rhiannon lives in the small town of Carnsham. She doesn't really need a house, she can get a small flat and now she doesn't have to make sure that they allow pets. Her father also had a construction business that they can sell.

Even her bullies seemed to be uninspired and lazy with their taunts (just hurtful comments in passing). I am not sure why 4 people at school "ignoring you" would make you feel like you don't exist.

She hated her, because she left her. The sister left her to look after their dad, and is fine with immediately dumping Rhiannon out of that house, when she’s grieving.  No time, no warning, her sister had a place to live, before their dad died. She doesn’t need to buy a place, right away.

Her sister leaves her on “read” all the time, and that would probably contribute to her feeling like a ghost.  That feeling, I understand.
that girl said that she smelled, and then acted like she didn’t see anyone who would be giving off the odor she pretended was in their vicinity.  I’m not sure how actively doing their best to hurt Rhiannon, was supposed to have no effect.  It looks like her sister didn’t care.

All of this.

Only she’s the one doing the killing.

Rhiannon is not a very sympathetic character.

Rhiannon Lewis is a psychopath and a petulant child. She thinks literally everyone is responsible for the way her life has turned out to be.

The only part about her that I feel bad for is that she was bullied as a kid, and that experience shaped that the way she views herself, how she perceives the world, and the way she believes the world perceives her. I can sympathize and empathize with that.

Where she loses me is her line of thinking morphing her into a murderous bully.

I enjoyed this so far. Rhiannon I thought was mostly sympathetic. She had moments where she acted like a kid but I can see why she might snap. Her sister definitely sucked though she almost seemed annoyed she had to go to her Father's funeral.

I am glad she didn't kill AJ as he was really the only one who acknowledged her at work and it wasn't his fault he got the job. In fact he even asked her about it after she followed him.

The dog being killed was awful and that was her fault. Her Sister wanting to sell the house is crappy. They didn't really have an actual conversation about it. She just assumed and told Rhiannon this is what I am doing.
