I hope Eve gets struck by lightning and Nick bleeds out. 

Gracie deciding to do the right thing finally seems like too little too late. Egg still sucks.

Bonnie's story still seems like a waste of time.

VV was yapping away a lot this episode and it wasn't entertaining.

Eve:  That dog is the love of my life!

Eve a few seconds later:  Fine, shoot him and get me a new dog tomorrow.

Well the island is lacking in a lot of amenities and things like police so what are the odds that there's a pet store which would have these little miniature species which some women seem to love?

I'm not sure why Gracie is doing the right thing by confronting Eve, looking like she's ready to cut a bitch.

Not her responsibility to bring crooks to justice.

Also not Yancy's responsibility to bring back the the Striplings to US soil for justice.  In fact, he has no jurisdiction on Andros so would they be able to legally arrest them if he succeeded in getting them back to the US?

Yancy even flashed his badge and the pilot to force him to take them back to the US on his plane.  But again, they said that American law enforcement has no official powers on the island, which is on foreign soil.

Yancy may be the good cop but it's not like cops aren't bribed to look the other way and let them get away.

Especially at the risk to his own life and Rosa.

Also ridiculous for her to be giving Yancy an ultimatum, leave the island with her on that plane or they're over.

Actually they're not officially a thing.  They were talking about what they had and maybe her moving to the Keys and staying at his place.

 

I really wonder what they do with the show if they get renewed.  Again, it's not clear VV will come back but even if he did, are they going to have his character pursue cases for 10 episodes?  Presumably Bonnie won't come back, probably decided she's going to go back on the lam now, since she expected to be in prison for a couple of months at the most for blowing up a house.

They could introduce more side characters.

But are there really a lot of serious crimes in the Keys?  Or would Yancy have to have some reason to investigate crimes in Miami or other parts of FL?

Hiassen was a reporter so I don't know if he had the crime beat and came up with ideas for his novels from real cases that he covered.  I can understand a couple faking a death for insurance fraud but a man cutting off his own arm?

Nick is pretty bloodthirsty.  He was reluctant at first to kill but it became easier for him with each kill.  He really wanted to end Yancy right there yet he was heartbroken about how his he alienated his daughter.  Not exactly the profile of a serial murderer.

I had to suspend my disbelief when the pilot took Rosa up in the plane. It sure didn’t look safe to me. 
Does anyone think they are going to have more seasons of this series?

This is one of the weakest episode.

There are so many unrealistic things happening here: 🤦🏻‍♀️

• Rosa texting “Yancy” right in front of Eve while undercover.
• Yancy is comfortable enough to send Rosa on impromptu plane ride with 2 unhinged killers, believing the law enforcement will handle everything else upon arrival.
• Getting into a small plane knowing the storm is coming. 
• There’s no urgency to leave the island since Nick and Egg are both injured. Yancy, Neville and Rosa can manhandle Eve and her tiny dog.
• Rosa giving Yancy an ultimatum when they aren’t even exclusive.
• Neville thinking he’s safe after Yancy and Rosa leaving the island. Dude, people know you’re crashing at Dawnie’s. 
• Gracie is overwhelmed with spiritual awakening when all the flights are canceled and there’s no way out. You’re still a fraudster, b!tch.
• The irrelevant Bonnie.

I certainly hope there aren't more series. At least I would not like to see 10 episode series like this. I guess they could do more Hiaasen books. I think Razor Girl might be OK and maybe Star Island. They could get a real singer actress to play the main character.

I hope they don't introduce Skink if they do. I am so tired of his character showing up in Hiaasen's books.

Aw, I still like it, faults and all.  I would love to see more seasons with Yancy, Rosa and Rogelio.  It's so much better than that awful Palm Beach mess with Kristin Wiig.
