Well I suppose if you have been shot on the arm and stowaway aboard a crooked pilot's plane for 12 hours somehow not making a peep to draw the suspicion of the murderous paranoid drug dealers that it would work out that the first person you encounter would be a doctor who bends the rules just enough not to turn you in.....

 

I am still flommoxed our guy doesn't get some sort of prosthetic or at least some sort of sling to hide the fact that he has one arm. I mean it wouldn't hurt just in case your botched plan to pin murder on another man backfires and suddenly someone remembered a man with one arm.

Bonnie sure likes to split whenever there is trouble. Lol

Nothing much happens to advance the plot. The show has lost its momentum after the “Nick is alive” reveal.

As expected, we see Bonnie and Cody again. UGH. 😏

Am also getting sick of the Dragon Queen prancing around like a girlboss when in reality she’s just a conwoman pretending to be a “healer”. 

I want more Yancy, more Rosa and more Neville‼️

Yeah up until this episode I actually thought she might help Neville but her screwing the guy that is trying to kill him and the fact she obviously stole those people's property I now think she sucks too.

I am glad the "Yancy blamed for murder" plot was resolved quickly though.

I don’t know, the Dragon Queen probably knows that Egg is a killer and that Nick and Eve are crooked if they’re employing Egg.

She intimidated Nick and Eve but presumably they are the ones who had her abducted.

If nothing else she’s fearless.  Some reviews raved about the performance of the actress playing her but maybe there’s more to come from the character.

Bonnie didn’t realize she was in the wrong until she read Cody’s diary?  Those underwater scenes, the manatee and other marine life looked like they were in deep ocean, not a swamp or marsh.

Yancy doing the fast-talking VV persona from Swingers while he’s under arrest or in prison.  Does snark and wise-cracking work when you’re potentially being convicted of murder?

She absolutely knows. The only way it's not horrible is that she is just using Egg to turn on Nick and Eve and maybe convince him to leave Neville alone. Either way, she is still a con artist - she stole a client's property by forging his signature and lying to his family.

I can't believe they are stretching this out to 10 episodes. I agree not a lot happened. Are we to believe the security guard survived?

I read this book when it came out but don't remember this Rosa'a sister character and I don't see that story line adding anything here.

Bonnie is messed up (in the book and on the show). And I assumed it was a spring, not a swamp or a marsh. Lots of beautiful springs in Florida (which can be pretty deep), lots of manatees hanging out in springs. I thought it was so pretty.

It's been a while, but I don't think Rosa's sister was in the book. I could be wrong - I need to revisit.
