Wednesday's episode with Josh, Suzi, and Danielle was pretty good too.

Maggie the dog was adorable in the 'Tell Your Secrets to this Dog' game.

Josh had the line of the episode -- when shown how Grindr is building an AI to act as a virtual wingman, the comedians were asked to come up with a line how these AI wingmen would flirt with each other.

Josh's answer: "Looking to suck disk. Can be hard or can be floppy."

FTW was something new -- Josh and Danielle had to keep naming off fake GooseBumps book titles until someone paused and couldn't come up with a title.

Danielle won -- and received a deck of paint color samples.

I'd like to know the point of these dumb "games" like guessing what objects weigh the same as a pumpkin.

I'm close to removing this show from series record. Once in awhile they have a good panel, but more often than not it's entirely skippable. The hour-long format simply doesn't work for this type of show. And while Taylor Tomlinson is an appealing host, I think she's a middling comic at best, and her opening monologues are not very good.

Just playing catch up on this week's shows.

Monday's show with Nick, Brian, and Demi was decent.

Hashtag Wars was back -- #scariersongs -- and they showed last week's online winner for #reptilemovie (The Emperor's Newt Groove).

FTW was 'The Ultimate Challenge' -- which was a guessing game.  And the question was just ..... bizarre.  How many times has 'Wuthering Heights' been made into a movie or TV show/series ?

Demi won, and received a side of ranch dressing.

Wednesday's show with Vinny, Emily, and Tien was good.  It was the first time on the show for Emily.

The comedians can only do so much with what they are given.  Because the pumpkin guessing game was pretty dumb.

FTW was 'guess where this guy is' based on a photo.  And go stand on this map of the world with your answer. Seriously ?  They've done this game before -- it was dumb then, and continues to be dumb.

Vinny won, and received a plastic Jack O'Lantern full of empty candy wrappers.

Thursday's show with Caroline, Justin, and Marcela was the best episode of the week.  Bit of personal bias, I have liked Marcela since she was on the @Midnight shows.

The descriptions of the costume accessories for the Spirit Hallowe'en store were pretty funny, especially Marcela's description of the Tradwife Influencer costume.

It wasn't a game, but Justin's seance was pretty good -- Taylor seemed genuinely freaked out by the ringing bell.

FTW was 'The Ultimate Challenge'.  And it's another Price is Right style guessing game -- this time guessing the price of a creepy looking house.  Though it was funny when Marcela whispered in Justin's ear "The price is wrong, motherfucker".

Marcela won, and received a old book titled 'Open if You Dare'.
Marcela opened the book and was transported into the big screen.

Hmm. The one with the writers kind of explains why the show is so bad. I turned it off after the first segment.

Indeed, I just watched the first ten minutes and hit pause to switch to a Family Guy repeat. Though there was something sweet about letting them on camera to play during these trying times, and I think Taylor seemed more relaxed. (Not that she's normally uptight, she just seemed really comfortable with the writers.)

Finally playing catchup from last week's shows.

Monday's show with Rekha, Rhys, and Paul F. Tompkins was amusing.

Hashtag wars was back -- #calmermovies -- and they showed last week's winner.

FTW was 'The Ultimate Challenge' -- which was yet another 50/50 choice, by having Paul F. Tompkins hide a Lego man in his closed hands.

Rekha won and received a survival backpack.

(edited)

Thursday's show with the writers, Michelle, Sam, and Skyler, was even darker than Wednesday's show, since it was taped on Wednesday before Wednesday's show was taped.

FTW was 'The Ultimate Challenge' -- who can guess if Taylor has seen the movie 'Minions'.

Sam won and received a towel swan from a hotel.

Monday's show with Milana, Jason, and Jessica was entertaining, including the cameo by star of the show Tracker (and former ShoeGuy from the show Mistresses) Justin Hartley.  Justin hosted the show for one question, and then sat in on the couch section of the show, and showed a clip of the upcoming episode of Tracker.

The Give Something Bangs game was ..... odd.

This week's HashTag Wars was: #supernaturaltvshows

I liked Curb Your Exorcism

FTW was 'The Ultimate Challenge' -- who can pull the tablecloth out from under stacked cups and leave the most cups upright.

At least it wasn't another 50/50 guessing game -- and Jason nailed it with a perfect score !!

Jason won and received a candle made by Taylor in an adult candle-making workshop.

I liked Tuesday's show with David, Megan, and Langston -- it was pretty goofy.

Thought Taylor was going to break something during the Couch game, becaused she laughed so hard.

This time the Smash Miniature Figures game was another odd choice -- but it was fun.

FTW was 'The Ultimate Challenge' -- who can guess the total number of members in a ska band, current and past ??
The ska band in question was Reel Big Fish -- the correct answer was 23.

Langston won and received a grappling hook/possible IUD.

Wednesday's show with Maria, Aya, and Murray was a hot mess, but I enjoyed it.

Murray as the JV football coach giving the "sex talk" to his players was funny.

FTW was 'The Ulimate Challenge' -- Ava and Murray had to empty their pockets, and the person with the most items wins.  That has to be the laziest FTW by the writers on this show ever.

Aya won and received a picture frame containing a stock photo of a family.

Thursday's show with Kate, Mark, and Pete was ok, but I really like Pete Holmes's sense of humor.

Leave it to Pete to pull out an Inigo Montoya reference during couch talk about Mark's ping pong story.

It was odd -- they had a commercial break between couch talk and couch game.

During couch game -- they each asked the comedians to bring in their favorite coffee mug and the other comedians had to guess whose coffee mug was whose, and one of the mugs had boobs on it so they have to spend money pixelating it.

FTW was 'The Ultimate Challenge' -- it was a BeyBlade Off !!

Pete won and received a previously owned broken lava lamp.

Catching up on last week's shows.

Monday's show had the "Where's this country on a map ?" for FTW.
This time it was North Macedonia.

This game was a dumb idea the first time, not sure why they brought it back again.

HashTag War this week was #ruinadisneymovie.

Bob the Drag Queen won -- and received a rock crystal that looked like it was previously part of a geode.

Tuesday's Ultimate Challenge was even dumber than yesterday's "Where's North Macedonia ?"

Taylor hid a phone charger somewhere on the stage and the first person to find it wins.   It was just so lazy by the writers.  What's next ?  Who can hold their breath the longest ?

The phone charger was stashed in Taylor's podium.

Lisa won -- and took home a pair of airline tickets to Hawaii that leaves LAX within the hour.

All 3 of the planned participants for Thursday's show -- Sherry Cola; actress Justine Lupe; actress Jackie Tohn -- were replaced by Anna Seregina, Greta Titelman, and Will Miles.

Thursday's Ultimate Challenge was "Guess which of staffers named Dave is taller ?"   Just so lazy by the writers -- yet another 50/50 guessing game.

Anna Seregina won -- and received an invisible trophy (i.e. absolutely nothing).

Just catching on last week's shows.

Last Monday's show with Opey, Mamrie, and Kurt was pretty funny, but that sweater game was just so stupid.  The comedians can only make do so much what they are given to work with.

Hashtag wars was #coldersongs.

And FTW was "Where in the world is this white guy with dreadlocks ?"
They did this once before -- it was stupid then, and it was stupid now.

Mamrie won and received a plate of Thanksgiving leftovers for her troubles.

Last Tuesday's show with Josh, Suzi, and Brandon was painful to watch at times.

I did like they had the 'Untangled' game again -- it is a super hard multitasking challenge.

FTW was "Guess how much Guy Fieri is worth ?"
Which breaks down to essentially a 50/50 guess.  If Josh had guessed $1 he would have won.

Brandon won and received a loaf of bread with a party hat.

Last Thursday's show with Jordan, Carmen, and Robby was .... out of control.

There was no FTW/Ultimate Challenge because Robby and Carmen walked off in solidarity because Robby was eliminated but then Carmen volunteered to go, but they ended up both leaving -- making Jordan the winner

Jordan got a Ziploc baggie of leftover screws and stuff from a futon that Taylor assembled.

Monday's show with Michael, Jessica, and Luke was pretty good (all 3 are cast members of the streaming series 'Shrinking')-- the Letterboxd game was funny and the Make It a Monologue game was really well performed, especially Jessica in her Wicked-style reading of the Intro of the WikiHow page on how to survive an encounter with an ostrich.

Hashtag wars was #MakeaMovieChristmas -- and there were some really good responses.  Examples like Luke's "The Yule-sual Suspects" or Michael's "North Pole-tergeist" or Jessica's Skyfall-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la

FTW/Ultimate challenge was the only low point of the show -- guess how many bracelets a guy at Burning Man is wearing.

Jessica won the Ultimate Challenge and got a small baggie of spare buttons that are provided with a new shirt.

Wednesday's show with Nico, Ben, and Franchesca was pretty good.
Each of them were cast members on the show 'Superstore'.

For the Guess Whom ? game, while everyone was impressed with the accurate guess for Venus de Milo, I was more impressed that they guessed Jake from State Farm.

FTW/Ultimate challenge was 'guess how much this meal costs ?'.
This is just so lazy by the writers.
The meal was a fancy burger and fries with a side of ketchup that cost $38.

Nico won and got a Christmas stocking filled with smaller Christmas stockings.

Thursday's show with Ilana, Paul, and Fortune was all over the place.
Last show of 2024.

Taylor needs to not wear that heart necklace anymore, the bright light reflections from that necklace early on in the show were very distracting.  Looks like someone sprayed something on it between breaks so it wasn't so bright.

FTW/Ultimate challenge was 'guess which hand Ilana Glaser has hidden a Lego minifig ?'.
Really ?  Are the writers just phoning it in ?  They did this once before and it was equally disappointing.

Fortune won and received an envelope containing 'The True Meaning of Christmas' delivered by Santa.
