Salacious Kitty October 11 Share October 11 (edited) You're correct. Josie and Jenni were not in the bridal party. Edited October 11 by Salacious Kitty 2 Link to comment

Josie and Jenni wore matching dresses to Jana's party and were in charge of wrangling those billion little flower girls. So maybe they were considered jr bridesmaids aka babysitters 6 5 Link to comment

As far as sibling relationships, none of the sisters were all that close to any of their siblings. Some buddies became attached to their big buddy, but I think only the brothers and Joy had anything close to a friendship within similar aged sibling groups. Jana was never an introvert. She was a chatterbox who was trained to tone it down. While the parents always pushed the siblings as best friends narrative, it wasn't true in real life. Parents in cults like this don't want the kids to get close to one another because the kids can then band together against the parents. So it's all for show, but behind the scenes kids are regularly pitted against each other and encouraged to rat each other out. See the Rodrigues children. 3 13 1 1 Link to comment
Fostersmom October 19 Share October 19 Kitchen renovation Honestly, Jana and Stephen seem so perfect for each other, I'm really liking them together. Guess that's what happens when you don't get married to the first person you smile at the second you turn 18. So much more comfortable around each other than I've seen any of the other couples. And Jana, sketchy safety issues aside, 1000% is the only Duggar I would trust to actually do pretty much any kind of project she says she can do. She has some legit skills. I don't care for the drawer pulls she chose, not my style, but everything else looks very classic. She's no doubt going to end up with the best house along with the best wedding. 13 Link to comment

I'm so impressed when I see Jana cutting, measuring, fitting, planning, etc. I couldn't begin to figure out how to do what she does. Wow, she eats three eggs with three slices of cheese every morning. I guess she needs energy for all that moving around she does all day. The kitchen is looking beautiful. I hope they stay in that house for a long time, with all the work they've put into it to make it just the way they want it. 41 minutes ago, Fostersmom said: sketchy safety issues aside Speaking of that, I kind of cringed seeing Stephen doing all that spray painting (and sanding) without a mask. Then I looked up spray painting indoors and it said this: Quote When you’re spray painting in an enclosed space, you MUST use a respirator with disposable cartridges. Apparently, according to what I've read, even a N95 mask is not sufficient--it has to be a respirator. And Stephen wasn't wearing either. 4 5 Link to comment
