S01.E01: Who'll Be The Next In Line?

Well, this is fun summer fluff.  History buffs are sure to be annoyed, but I'm just going with the flow that about the only commonalities between this show and history are the names of the main characters.  This is a "what if X happened instead of Y" premise, and it's working for me.  The added magic/fantasy sub-plot actually helps take it out of history realm.

Strangely, I like the narrator.  I usually find narrators annoying and superfluous.  But this one comes with a decent dose of snark, and I like that.  I'm not sure how I feel about the modern music.  It works in some places, and doesn't in others.

I'm a bit surprised I'm the first comment, as it's been up for more than a week and was heavily promo'd by Prime.  I hope others join in.

I loved the music. I ended up using Shazam a lot. 

I did hand wave a lot that didn’t make sense historically, because I was very entertained.

I only saw something about it tonight, because I haven’t been on prime video.  I can’t remember where I saw the ad, but I’ve just started to watch it, because it’s the sort of light thing I was looking for.  
I’m glad I chose to watch it. I almost didn’t.

I like this, I like the handmade/friend who turned out to be an Ethian, I've only watched 2 episodes so I hope she comes back, I watched her in Extraordinary and I shouted "she found her power!" she's the reason i watched this.
