I also think I liked their portrayal in Doom Patrol more. These guys mannerisms and speach affectations seem just so over the top... Should have gotten the same actors back.

So that witch is just going to kidnap and kill another girl, irsn't she? Great solve of the problem there dead boys...

Oh they got Ruth Connell. Well that's fun. Why can she reprise the character she played in Doom Patrol but not the boys?

Overall this was entertaining enough. I'll give it a few more episodes, see how it developes.

Well, that was a fun first episode - even with all the exposition dumps. I admit I did have to double check which boy was which from the Doom Patrol episode.

Looks like this will fill the void left by the cancellation of Lockwood & Co until this too gets cancelled. And as much as I enjoyed this episode, it did highlight that this is a show I will have to watch when the sun is up.

This was a fun first outing, even if its weird how many things have changed from the Doom Patrol backdoor pilot to this. Different cast, different universe, its this sort of thing that makes these connected universes and competing IP's so confusing. I don't know why they recast the main characters, the guys from Doom Patrol were so good and had such great chemistry, but I'm willing to give these guys a chance. 

Fun to see Death so quickly, I wonder if anyone else from the Sandman universe will show up?

I’ve never heard of them before, and I’ve never seen doom patrol, so I’ll have to look it up.  I liked this.

The recasting was especially odd since their appearance in DOOM PATROL was a backdoor pilot and they kept Ruth Connell as Night Nurse (but she was hand-picked by the series creator because they worked together on SUPERNATUAL).

The series and recasting was announced to so a week or two after the DOOM PATROL episode aired so they already had it in mind that they would go with different characterizations of  Edwin, Charles and Crystal.  I was initially put out by the recasting, but George, Jayden and Kassius are excellent. Also,  I like that Edwin and Charles' personalities are so different. In the DOOM PATROL episode they were alot alike.

I really enjoyed the first episode. More talking cats for me, please. I thought Edwin was too much of a jerk to Crystal. It's not her fault that she didn't tell two strangers everything that she remembered about her possession that looked pretty traumatic.
