DanaK February 18 Share February 18 Quote Marty and Courtney are navigating the pregnancy news and what it all means for their future, while Malcolm is dealing with his own workplace relationship, on THE NEIGHBORHOOD, Monday, Feb. 19 (8:00-8:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ Link to comment
Izzy85 February 20 Share February 20 Ok, Marty made me so mad this episode, and I am usually on his side. Calvin was not in the wrong for wanting her to sign those papers. I didn't like Courtney threatening to keep the baby from him and basically blackmailing Calvin for whatever she wants. 3 Link to comment
HurricaneVal February 20 Share February 20 Me neither. It just rings...wrong. Marty is totally out of character, he's just not a "friends with benefits" oopsie, now she's pregnant, <shrug> casual kind of guy. None of this storyline fits. None of it. Malcolm, on the other hand, has my heart on this. So tentative, so hopeful, so happy... I hope all goes well for him. 4 Link to comment
joanne3482 February 20 Share February 20 Add me to the list of folks who don't like where this pregnancy storyline is going. This is out of character for Marty. Courtney is not looking good here either. I was really hoping that when the whole production over the test happened it was going to be only 1 line. 2 Link to comment
Harvey February 20 Share February 20 This season is off to such a rocky start. You know what? Just take the baby to Calgary and save us from this stupid storyline, please. The only good scene here was Malcolm and Janelle's faux marriage. 3 Link to comment
jah1986 February 20 Share February 20 Not a great episode. I don't think I laughed once. And is the Grover actor getting worse as he gets older? I do not like where they are going with the Courtney storyline. She's already making a lot of demands and throwing down ultimatum's. This can only end badly for us as viewers. 1 Link to comment

I don't like Marty's energy here either. He's behaving immaturely but is also in a weird position since his dad has valid concerns and he's a business partner. I think she was offended by her friend who she accidentally made a baby with presenting her with legal documents to sign. She's a Canadian who's alone and pregnant in California and the people she thought were going to rally around her are asking her to sign legal documents. I can't blame her for wanting to be around her own family. She didn't expect that from Marty or Calvin. 1 Link to comment
