I had no idea what I was watching, seriously no idea. 1 4 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/141711-s49e04-timoth%C3%A9e-chalamet-boygenius/page/2/#findComment-8208342
Pete Martell November 13, 2023 Share November 13, 2023 Britney's manager has now said the post claiming to be from him blasting the show (and Chloe Fineman) was fake. https://www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/2023/11/britney-spearss-manager-calls-out-saturday-night-live-for-pathetic-britney-sketch 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/141711-s49e04-timoth%C3%A9e-chalamet-boygenius/page/2/#findComment-8208393
possibilities November 14, 2023 Share November 14, 2023 I found some boygenius on youtube and wow-- what a difference! I like them. It's really a crime against music that SNL has such crappy sound. I know it' snot my ears or my TV, because late night shows (or other shows) I watch that have musical guests don't all sound terrible like that. I can't even blame NBC. It has to be an SNL production problem specifically. 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/141711-s49e04-timoth%C3%A9e-chalamet-boygenius/page/2/#findComment-8209379
Milburn Stone November 15, 2023 Share November 15, 2023 Chloe Troast was great. Sarah Sherman didn't get a lot of funny to actually do in her sketch and yet she's the one that made the sketch work IMO. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/141711-s49e04-timoth%C3%A9e-chalamet-boygenius/page/2/#findComment-8209656
Blakeston November 15, 2023 Share November 15, 2023 I hate that the rap sketch was basically a beat-for-beat repeat of the rap sketch from his original appearance (except without Pete Davidson). The studio audience will laugh, because it's new to most of them. But for those of us with good memories, we might as well just fast-forward through it. The performances were funny to me, how they each doubled down on the same beat. This was the most I've enjoyed Heidi lately, reacting to them, especially her flinching every time they blared the hold music. Even in his eight season, Mikey is surprising me. What stood out most to me was how incredibly different Timothee looked with a tan and that thick, straight hair. Like, unrecognizable compared to the pale, delicate, curly-haired waif he usually appears to be. He had that hair and makeup for 2 sketches and I was just floored at the difference. 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/141711-s49e04-timoth%C3%A9e-chalamet-boygenius/page/2/#findComment-8210327
