It’s not sure how we’re supposed to read the scene in which Kit and Luke are pulling back clothing to compare their “battle scars.” I vividly remember Eliot and a female Hitter having a similar scene on Leverage that pretty much worked as foreplay, but I don’t think that’s what they were aiming for here. Not that I wouldn’t enjoy them going there - steamy Tim Rozon scenes are always welcome - but it doesn’t seem in character for Luke from what I remember.

They were just trying to one-up each other. You see this a lot in war/soldier movies where they compare battle scars. In the exchange, Luke realized that Kit was the real deal, even if everything he does now is totally fake.

I was going to make another comparison, but got beat to it. 😉

In (faux) reality, though, I think the true intent of the scene was to show Luke’s evolving perception of Kit - from regarding Kit as a total fake, to accepting Kit as a quasi-equal at least.

Like the scene in Jaws where Robert Shaw and Richard Dreyfuss compare injuries.

Beat me to it. 😂
