They really doubled down on Jack As A Good Daddy scenes.  Talk about overkill.

The way Mel talks to Jack drives me insane. Oh sweetie, honey it was only a bad dream, everything is ok now.  And the tone like she's talking to a little kid. If I closed my eyes that's who I would picture Mel was talking to.

Yes, the whole Jack is going to be the bestest daddy ever was overkill.  Also, who leaves their kids with someone they barley know. yeah, yeah, Mel treated one of the kids, but the parents didn't really know Mel or Jack. Yeah, yeah, I know everyone knows Mel and Jack by their outstanding reputation. But I'm going with the parents were so burnt out from their obnoxious kids that they would have left them with any random person just to get a break. 😆

Boy, she really does say "Honey" and "Sweetie" a LOT, and not just to Jack. Made me feel somewhat inferior since I've never been one to use affectionate nicknames.

Finally getting started on this season...

So Preacher breaks up with a great woman for Paige, who then tells Preacher she's leaving town to start over, and now he's hooking up with the firefighter. And all of this happened in the span of like two days. 

I liked the vibe between Brie and Mike, and I wouldn't hate it if they got together instead.
