I wasn't going to watch this and then I found out who the two principals are and I've enjoyed their work, so I'm giving it a go.

Sometimes I wonder if  Hollywood realizes they could create new material? Is it super easy to get funding or get  a project     green   lighted if it draws from a previously successful film or something? One wonders.

I'm going to have to rewatch the 3 episodes I did watch because I struggled to remain awake. Not a good start.

I wanted to like this, but how do you make the Fatal Attraction story boring and slow? I felt Joshua Jackson was doing his best Michael Douglas impression. I still see him as a teen or playing a teen. Amanda Pete showing up in a bad wig with bangs, I thought she was going to be looking down doing something at a counter in every scene.

I’m old enough to remember seeing the original film in the theater. While I’m interested in this series, I don’t like the plot device of moving from present day to past. They gave away the ending in the first episode, which makes no sense to me. It’s different than the movie ending, so I wouldn’t have known if they weren’t using this stupid, overdone device. Every time they move to the present, it takes me out of the show.

I’m also distracted by how awful Joshua Jackson’s hair looks. It’s worse in the present but still not great in the flashbacks. Does he own a good brush?  The style looks retro. He needs a haircut.

Kiss my mutt, agree! I almost didn’t recognize Amanda Peet.

I'm pretty sure he's wearing a terrible wig or added hair piece in the front in the past timeline. There's not as much hairline recession as he has in real life. His hair in current timeline seems to be his real hair with some gray added. The cut looks pretty much like it does in the picture in this article about the show.
