Constantinople September 5, 2022 Share September 5, 2022 Is it a sign that the white hart briefly glanced at Rhaenyra and then ran away? You might think that. I couldn't possibly comment. 1 Link to comment
SeanC September 5, 2022 Share September 5, 2022 The Stepstones conflict logistically has various issues, but I'd say in fairness to the creators that they inherited this problem from GRRM, namely, that it's really difficult to invent compelling scenarios for how anybody can given the dragonriders a real fight without their own magical weapons. The tourney in the premiere and the hunt here are GRRM getting the full-sized versions of things that he wanted for the first season of Game of Thrones. 1 Link to comment

Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony. 1 1 2 1 Link to comment

Constantinople September 8, 2022 Share September 8, 2022 Everyone always talks about the symbolism of the white hart. No one ever talks about the symbolism of Ser Criston unsheathing his "sword" and Rhaenyra saying "No". 1 1 1 Link to comment
