Before Series (Sunrise, Sunset, & Midnight)

Even if all 3 weren't the great movies that they are, the location porn for all 3 could be enough of a reason to watch.

OMG, I absolutely love these movies. All of them. So amazing.

Just the best. I'm only a few years younger than the characters, so I feel like I kind of grew up with them, in a way. It's amazing how they captured the evolution of emotions as we age and gain life experience. The long trilogy was a beautiful, successful experiment that I hope continues in the future!

I'm about 1-2 years older than Ethan Hawke and July Delply, so their character's relationship development was so very relatable. Pretty much my favourite romantic movies. I'd be ok if they stop with the third but I wouldn't mind a fourth one.

That scene from the last one makes me cry every time.

It's been 9 years so I wouldn't mind seeing a 4th movie...maybe the Pandemic has caused new challenges..or they broke up while slowly finding a way to embrace the new normal and each other.

I would hate it if there was a new movie and their status was that they had broken up.

I'm younger than them, but had a big crush on Ethan Hawke, when I was a teenager. I loved the movies, too.

I am a couple years younger than Jesse and Celine, and I very much relate to them. Sunset is my favourite, I may consider it the best movie of the 2000s. 
 

I want a fourth. I don’t think being 50+ suddenly makes life uninteresting.

Much as I agree...the two have always had cases of miscommunications and misunderstandings.  

When I say broken up, I mean in the emotional sense with the pandemic making them more apart than together.  And the two work to re establish their bond..maybe going on an international trip and spend time on a train..where they first met

Maybe the 4th one could be them adjusting to being grandparents? Or having to deal with being in that particular demographic...

If they make another movie in the next few years, Jesse’s son would be around the age Jesse and Celine were in Before Sunrise. It could be about Jesse and Celine visiting the son and his new partner in…no clue, where. I think an American setting would be interesting. In seeing the son and his partner interact, Jesse and Celine can reflect on how they behaved back then and what they are now.

Having it be in America could be interesting, but I do like the location porn we got from the movies being set in Europe. I wouldn't mind if we got to see the next one in a major southern European city this time, like Madrid or maybe even Lisbon.
