Neil can't wait to show off his deal-making skills with the visiting mayors of L.A.'s sister cities, but chaos ensues when he mistakes a group of film extras for the real mayors; Mikaela, with Arpi's encouragement, decides to finally ask out James.

Airs 4/12.

Also answers the questions about the I-Team being around when the plot demands it.

I NEED to know why James turned her down. He's clearly into her. However, I kind of hope this is not one of those miscommunications where she dashed out in embarrassment before he said "I can't on Saturday, but how about Friday night?" Because that would also seriously irritate me.

The James and Mikaela plot was more suited to junior high than the halls of government. They are certainly welcome to their miscommunications, but it should be because of their hectic environment rather than their total dorkatude.

I loved the idea of Arpi losing her dream man to "David Spade's stuntwoman". I would imagine Arpi and the stuntwoman would practically be twins.

The pink stretch Cadillac was definitely an LA car. I would have called the city motor-pool for a forklift to get that thing unstuck.

I liked the fact that Niel punished Tommy for not speaking up sooner. Tommy should have immediately thrown Jayden under the bus. Actually Jayden should have called long before he did, but he gets a pass for being a wise fool.

I almost didn't watch this week because I've been not really enjoying the show, but this week's really worked for me. I don't know if I'm just in the right mood for it, or what the difference is.

Arpi as David Spade's stunt woman's doppelganger was a stunning but totally accurate surprise. I wonder how long they had that joke in their pocket.

And I agree the HR woman was fantastic.

Schmoozing really is the mayor's superpower, and it figures that the "tour" of LA would seem like a junket rather than a debacle. It was all predictable but for some reason I didn't mind.

I did love the HR lady arbitration of appropriateness.  And that Arpi continues to be just a little nuts underneath the veneer of dedicated public servant.

I think they need to find a way for Tommy to grow as a character and as a member of the government, in the same way that they have started with Mikaela.

I hope this wasn't the extent of the sister cities plot.  I was hoping they might try for more.
