Not sure if I am remembering this right, but I thought Barbara Walters used to say that if people showed her a baby, and she didn't think the baby was that cute, she would say, "Now that's a baby!"  This was a fairly long time ago.

Yes she did say that.

Also, once you recognize you are a "blurter", you can work on changing that. It isn't something like eye color which you can't change; it is a behavior that a person can modify if they care to.

I guess Sunny doesn't care to modify her behavior.  Doubt she thinks there is anything wrong with her being blurter. But I'm sure she doesn't want someone blurting things at her.

A therapist on a trash-tv show I watch (MAFS, iykyk) told a woman "you speak what you think and you speak what you feel. You wear that like a badge of honor. A lot of the time it's not." Sunny needs to hear this.

I agree. Sunny seems to think telling the truth (which isn't always the truth, a lot of times it's just her opinion) makes her honest.  There is a difference between not lying and telling the truth when nobody asked you.

Sunny thinks she's the smartest one in the room.

She really does. And sometimes she is.  But that doesn't mean whatever she is says is correct. Although she seems to think it does.

In her memoir she doesn't hesitate to attack people whom she thinks have done her wrong.  I won't go into details here because this is more about the week of topics but she does become part of the story when she puts forth her opinions.

There is one sour grapes story I do agree with her about.  When she was made a permanent cohost of the View ABC didn't announce it the way they do when they hire a new cohost.  I can understand her being peeved about that.

My second baby was SO CUTE...from birth.  He could have been a Gerber's baby. My first, however, was not.  It probably took him two years to be cute.  Prior to that I'd hear comments like, "OH! Oh...what BLUE eyes."  "Hmm...he has beautiful coloring."  Poor little guy, he wasn't a cute baby.  He WAS the best baby (slept thru the night from the first night) and so easy to take care of and love.  They both had a period of years when they were very good looking.  Now they're average middle-aged men.

Not only that, from her body language, she thinks it's just ONE MORE CUTE/ENDEARING thing about her.  Sara covered her tracks by saying, "When Sunny says it, it's funny."  IT. IS. NOT!

I don't agree at all.  It's just one more ego-driven drama she loves to wallow in.  It shows her priorities and it also shows the type of personality who craves the spotlight.  She was a successful prosecutor yet she yearned to be in front of the camera.  That's all well and good but it takes me back to my original post about her insecurities and how she continues to play them out in her passive aggressive manner or with indignant self-righteousness.  Get over yourself Sunny, you're co-host number 1021 on the neverending carousel known as The View.  Be glad you have the job.

I agree. I suppose nearly all co-hosts on The View the past ten years have had a rough go of it, but the lack of fanfare around her and Bila's hiring was pretty unfair. Perhaps they didn't go all out in announcing it in the normal way because I don't think Whoopi liked either one of them joining the show and they didn't want to get her going.

Not gonna lie, this is the funniest post I've read in a long time.

Now I'm wondering if I'd rather have a cute baby or an easy baby!
