bilgistic September 12, 2021 Share September 12, 2021 On this competition show, a group of metal artists torch, cut and weld epic, badass creations from hardened steel. Only one will win a $50,000 prize. Link to comment
bilgistic September 13, 2021 Author Share September 13, 2021 (edited) Lou was robbed. Rae reminded me so much of Amy Poehler's "Saturday Night Live" character, Kaitlin. I was exhausted watching her. Edited September 13, 2021 by bilgistic 2 Link to comment
Oosala September 16, 2021 Share September 16, 2021 Ivan is hot. The whole time watching this, my eyes were drawn to the white light when they were welding. I kept wondering if I was going to go blind. 4 Link to comment
xander874 September 16, 2021 Share September 16, 2021 Agreed that Ivan was super hot. Man... I enjoyed this show. It was a quick watch, everyone seemed pretty nice, and episodes didn't have tons of filler. Fills my inexplainable need to watch reality competition shows (can't wait for the next British Bake-Off). I got so mad during the food grill challenge when the guy (sorry bad with names) couldn't understand the challenge. I blame his partner too for not pushing harder. But the whole time, I was confused why they didn't just ask someone to explain. 5 Link to comment

A whole crew makes a show! Could no one say anything? I'm still mad about it. The show quite literally could have turned out differently if Frank or Leah had asked for clarification or if a production member just fucking told them. Frank was problematic on several levels. 4 Link to comment

Frank was problematic on several levels. On my favorite hot metal show Forged In Fire there are apparently production members off-camera who competitors can ask for parameter clarifications. Unless memorizing the list of requirements is part of the challenge, I can't imagine this show wouldn't provide the same. If I were Leah I would have immediately called one over to explain things to Frank since he obviously wasn't going to listen to anything she said. 7 Link to comment
GaT September 27, 2021 Share September 27, 2021 I thought Ivan had it right until the final challenge. I wondered the same thing, & it didn't seem like they asked someone off camera, because I never got the feeling he understood. 2 Link to comment
TVbitch October 7, 2021 Share October 7, 2021 This was Ivan's to lose ...and he did! Bummer. The winner shouldn't even have been in the final for my money. I thought his semi-final piece (the rocket ship that was supposed to look like an Indy car) was the worst of the bunch. I liked both Rae and Lou's pieces better. I will say the winners Zombie car was pretty solid. I loved Lou's mobile. I wish he would have been in the final. 4 Link to comment
