The timeframes in this show are ridiculous.  Jack and Mel break up in the evening.  Somehow she gets to LA in time to attend Joey’s divorce  hearing the next day - midday.  Joey commented that it was 5PM somewhere. 
Charmaine is only about halfway through her pregnancy, which means Mel and Jack have known each other maybe 4 months. Yet Mel wants a baby right this minute,

And at this point, how far along is Charmaine's pregnancy? Because if she's carrying twins, she sure isn't showing it.

It’s come to light that she was about 3 months pregnant at the point that Mel went to Joey’s divorce hearing

A month went by between season one and season two (or so they said).  Charmaine was at least 2 months pregnant thruout season one, that makes her at least 3 months by the start of season two.  Then it's three weeks between season 2 and 3, so I'm middway through season 3 and Charmaine is skinnier than anyone there and she should be at least 4 months pregnant with twins.  It's gotten silly now.
