thewhiteowl February 27, 2021 Share February 27, 2021 When a Petty Officer is shot down by a sniper, Pride and NCIS hunt down the killer, only to find that he may not be acting alone. Also, Rita tells Pride that she has been offered a compelling job…in Kansas City. Link to comment
DavidWeis1 March 1, 2021 Share March 1, 2021 I have followed Bakula's career going back to Quantum Leap. One thing I noticed in last night's episode that really caught my eye was how easy his acting was, especially in the last few minutes (the scene where Pride and Rita talk about her job then look for the "misplaced" ring.) Both of them — as actors — seemed genuinely happy, with eyes-a-twinkling and whimsy right on the surface, and that's saying a lot given the pandemic. Sadly, as we know, it's not to last. Show's cancelled. But I hope the people behind this show can give it the send-off Quantum Leap never received. Personally, this 3-4 minutes might just work for me. 3 Link to comment

It's interesting how good there chemistry is since they are IRL husband and wife. Often two actors who already have history don't always have good chemistry on the screen, because there's little left to explore, to role play, to give it that extra heat when they connect romantically. But these two are so sweet and believable together, I'm not even jealous of Rita! 😉 3 Link to comment

They just put her in as a ‘date’ with no real history or story of her own. But her role has grown and developed and I like their relationship. 3 Link to comment
kassygreene June 1, 2021 Share June 1, 2021 I'm catching up, so just watched this. I guess it's a symptom of why the show was canceled, because the story (in two! replies) isn't being mentioned, but: 1) that aerial shot of Mobile was indeed Mobile - I used to drive that stretch of I-10 yearly, and while I have never seen the skyline, I remember those interstate-speed curves soooo well that I still have nightmares, and 2) it's been19 years, but that was a re-telling of the DC Sniper(s), right down to it being blue car. The story wasn't bad nor badly done, but I knew it was a DC Sniper(s) reboot from the Petty Officer's killing - there was no way the guy could have been identifiable in camo and blue cloth. 1 Link to comment

Holy crap, I didn't even catch the DC Sniper parallels. And I'm from DC and took that case very seriously--my mother had just left the store where the FBI agent was shot an hour earlier so I was freaking out the whole time. Good catch. 1 Link to comment
