When coronavirus makes it unsafe for crews to film, the moms pick up the cameras to self-shoot. Despite quarantine, Leah’s book release pushes her and Jeremy to confront their past. Jade is forced to close her salon during lockdown.

Of all the women on this show, I guess I’m pulling for Jade. But she is tough to take. She talks over everyone.  Unless she’s hard of hearing this has got to change. I realize most of the people in her life only say stupid shit but it is hard to watch.

It's weird seeing them talk about how COVID is affecting them financially while they're pretending that they're not getting paid by MTV.

I follow Jade on Instagram… Don’t judge… She swears up and down that the income from the salon was her only income. I don’t know how that’s possible but didn’t want to argue with her because I feel sorry for her. Her life is such a shitshow. (Also, I’m fucking 52 years old and way too old to be arguing with a 20-something “teen” Mom.)

There's a huge disparity in their salaries.  Chelsea, Leah & Kail are paid well for their participation on the show, while Brianna & Jade, as relative newbies, are not.  That's why both still work other jobs and likely did/do struggle.

Kail whining about not being able to go to the Bahamas was just too much for me. And she even has her kids whining about it. Hawaii, Costa Rica, Mexico, the Bahamas...she certainly is living the life of a privilege. She was acting like an entitled spoiled brat especially when she opened her big mouth and said such uneducated and tone deaf remarks about COVID. Wow...just when I think I couldn't dislike her anymore, I do.

I get that, but Brianna and Jade's salaries have to be in the high five-figures range at least. I respect them for continuing to work regular jobs, but it's certain that their MTV salaries are significantly higher than what they make from their "real" jobs. I think MTV told them to talk about how their income was hurt because of COVID for storyline reasons and I believe that they miss that money, but I don't think they were hurting/worried the way people who didn't have close to/over $100K coming in were.
