Center Stage (2000)

All of the twentieth anniversary stuff for Center Stage has made me so nostalgic to watch this movie again. I LOVED it so much and, although I might be prejudiced, I think the movie holds up after all these years.

Cast reunion to benefit ABT last week:

This movie holds such a special place in my heart. It was just one of those movies where, for me, everything came together, the story, the actors, the dancing, oh the dancing!, it is magical. It was so nice to see them all together. With one exception they all look exactly the same. Ethan, otoh, had changed, man has he changed! lol 

Time to pull out my DVD again. (even though I have the DVD this is one of those movies that, if I happen upon it on tele, I will stop and watch, no matter what point in the movie it is at.

Oh, definitely. And he's still got those bright blue eyes. I am also rather envious of that silky blonde hair.

SAME! And I know it's stupid because I could just put the DVD in and watch the entire movie without commercials but for some reason, I am compelled to just keep watching it on tv whenever it pops up.

Towards the end when everybody is talking about what they're doing now, Ethan says something about how his life is obviously different than it would have been 3 months ago. Is he just talking about general pandemic stuff, or did something happen?
