I could see this. I think it irked the other ladies that Lisa Vanderpump was the queen, and they felt Kyle should have that title. Erika's said as much. Rinna is a longtime fan of the show and probably respects Kyle's seniority. I think Kyle's made it clear to Dorit that she was closer to LVP, not that good of friends with her, and that Dorit is kind of lucky to be in the group at all. Teddi is obviously extremely close to Kyle. Sutton isn't hitting it off with most of them so far, so she is probably relieved that the OG Housewife is taking to her. Denise was a Housewives fan, but I think she enjoyed it for the entertainment of it, like most viewers, not that she had some serious respect for Bravo fame. Garcelle is also pretty neutral on Kyle and isn't kissing her ring. She and Denise are kind of alike though in that they're very beautiful, better known in Hollywood than most of this bunch, and would be okay without the show even if they appreciate the gig. Aim123 July 7, 2020 Share July 7, 2020 Here is what I think happened: The ladies found out Denise got a million-dollar contract, or whatever it was. They found out she makes more than them. So that is number one; they were irked/jealous. Then number two: They didn't think she "earned it"-- not dressing up, not getting glam, not really caring or attending events or getting involved in the way they were (not that this is true.) I think they were on edge for these reasons. They perceived her as not "living up to" the million-dollar contract, that they feel THEY should be getting, because they gave blood,sweat and tears to the show. 4 3 4 Link to comment
