Given that saying that you forgot to charge your car implies that you drive an EV, that whole explanation of the car and her phone running out of charge for why Tessa and Aria were incommunicado was so bogus that I, for one, wanted to through something big and heavy at the screen - - it screamed of the show's crack writing team having lost interest in the Tessa's being mesmerized by the evil Ian Ward thread.

Because it uses voice recognition technology, which, in my experience, falls prey to different accents, slurred speech, whispering, etc. There are shows that I think use a kind of CC technology that involves the script being fed into it - those are the ones that identify who is saying what, just like in the script.

The evil Ian Ward opens his eyes in the ambulance, and the plot thickens: Ian will reveal to GCPD's finest that he was kidnapped by Mikey with the assistance of an armed member of the Emperor Victor's crack security team and transported against his free will to the lair of the Newmans, where he was forced to steal a gun and shoot Victor out of fear for his life - will the GCPD buy that, tune in for more of the trials and tribulations of the Young and the Restless (cue organ exit music) - As The World Turns had the best organ music, aaahhh, those were the days, weren't they.

To start off would like to make an analogy.  Every  once in a while, Y&R becomes very enjoyable with exceptional performance by Mariah, Claire/Eve and even Auntie Jordan.  It’s like watching a very bad movie that becomes worth watching when your favorite actor or actress is in that movie. You endure the ridiculous scenes as long as they are in them.  

So Tessa has an electric car that ran out of “juice”.  That’s going to teach Tessa to plug her car in even before she enters her house. I hope Tessa knew where the manual release was located to open the door.  

Every time I see a flashback of a younger Sharon , I see a beautiful woman before she started putting crap in her face.  

What 🐂💩 is this that Ian might still be alive?  Is the EMT that incompetent that he can’t detect a heartbeat.  Ian was gut shot that would mean his bowels would be penetrated and deadly toxins and bacteria would be released into his body. Think of it as a burst appendix which can be deadly if not treated timely with a mass dose of antibiotics.  Ian eyes open but miraculously there is no pain. Ian must be a man of god 🤯.  

Chance is only a cop when the Newmans are involved.  Victor was shot and Ian was shot but he doesn’t question the self defense only why Ian was there in the first place.

Sorry this is so long.....

I have not really been watching regularly for awhile now. Lots going on personally. But I come here everyday to see what opinions this group has on what they are watching. And you never disappoint! The end for me?  Besides bringing in new characters to prop up or liven up Devon and Nate...two of the most dull people, ever, on a Soap?......

I want to say Sharon. Sharon C is not cut out to do "serious" drama. And she was onscreen seemingly at least 75% of the time. Nicki? Again, seemingly on all of the time. Victor? Sick to death of him. Ray Wise and Colleen Zenk (sp?) are a step above most GC residents, acting-wise; but they could not overcome the terrible writing. The rest of the cast? They were hardly ever on for these last months. Three quarters mostly disappeared.  Except for Claire.  Plus the terrible hair and wardrobe.

And maybe the worst? The plan seems to be that when some of the long-time actors/actresses are no longer on as much...the successors will be Nick, Victoria, probably Claire and maybe Kyle and Billy. The core Winters family has faded. Adam has been written terribly and basically ruined; so will be the target that gets beaten by Victoria, as head of Newman's. 

Who knows...maybe if the ratings tank enough, changes will be made.
