Daisy Jones and the Six, the best-selling novel by Taylor Jenkins Reid, is being turned into a 13 episode musical drama series on Amazon. Reese Witherspoon is a producer. Niki Caro is an executive producer and will direct some of the episodes. Riley Keough will star as Daisy.

Born into privilege but ignored by her selfish parents, Keough's Daisy Jones is a spirited and enigmatic singer-songwriter who comes of age and rises to rock superstardom against the backdrop of the Los Angeles music scene in the 1970s.

When are we expecting this? I thought the idea for Daisy Jones was amazing as I adore epistolary novels and created documents. Alas, the execution was the tiniest bit mundane IMO but I will still check it out as I really like TJR and lived The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. Does anyone know a timeframe for release?

Sorry, the article today on this show refers to Stevie Nicks as "Steve Nicks" twice -

Is the band supposed to be Fleetwood Mac? Is Daisy Jones Steve Nicks?

A little bit yes and a little bit no. Reid has said that Fleetwood Mac inspired her novel, and there are clear parallels. Steve Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham joined the group after it had existed for several years, and after they arrived,
