Galileo908 January 9, 2015 Share January 9, 2015 "Your authority is not recognized in Fort Kickass" was the moment when he became my favorite character. 1 Link to comment
CletusMusashi January 9, 2015 Share January 9, 2015 So who is this Edmund Burke guy that he's cloned from? Wikipeida lists several, but none look like an obvious fit. Link to comment

He's not cloned from Edmund Burke, he just quoted the man. Krieger is cloned from Hitler (well, possibly). I really hope it's not a sign that we did in fact lose the original Krieger and this is one of the other clones, but it seemed conspicuous to me that he was in the hot tub and his hologram girlfriend/fiancee wasn't there.... That seems to be his major story arc this season. Is he the original Krieger or one of the other clones. I think the show is going to play up the idea that maybe either could be the truth before we find out which one. Link to comment
CletusMusashi January 10, 2015 Share January 10, 2015 (edited) My problem with the "Hitler clone" idea is that he doesn't look like Hitler. Pick whichever Hitler you want. Actual Hitler: 5'8", blue eyes, very dark brown hair. Pop-culture Hitler: Anywhere from 5'3" all the way down to Stewie Griffin's height, brown eyes, black hair. Krieger and sibs: Probably 6', green eyes, and medium brown hair. I love the idea of him being a Nazi clone. It totally fits the whole batshit mad scientist persona they've written around him. But making clones of a famous person that don't actually look like that person, or at least like what everybody thinks that person looked like, is kind of a confusing choice. Plus, since when is Adolph Hitler himself remembered as an ingenious scientist and inventor? That seems to be the main schtick of the Krieger clones. Not, say, loud angry public speaking. Or violent paranoid insanity. Or a compulsion to make really bad mustache decisions. Cloned from a one of Hitler's rocket scientists or something... now that makes more sense. I could probably see something like a clone of Hitler's secret child or something, but I get where you are coming from. Link to comment
CletusMusashi January 11, 2015 Share January 11, 2015 Being a "Hitler clone" could also refer to the fact that he's from a line of clones originally given the go-ahead by Hitler. That's kind of a stigma that would be hard to shake no matter what. Even Volkswagens have to deal with it. Link to comment
Danny Franks January 11, 2015 Share January 11, 2015 That seems to be his major story arc this season. Is he the original Krieger or one of the other clones. I think the show is going to play up the idea that maybe either could be the truth before we find out which one. I'm really hoping it's original Krieger. Because while the clone thing is funny, I don't want them to lose the history Krieger has with the rest of the characters, and his own particular quirks (shouting "smokebomb!" and running away, having a cool van and a holographic Japanese fiancee). 1 Link to comment
CletusMusashi January 12, 2015 Share January 12, 2015 Although if his fiancee is the one who figures out he's a fake and has to lead a rescue mission, that might be interesting. Link to comment
