  1. No episode description, so what I can surmise from the promo: Jenna gives Connor a makeover because she's "sick of everyone thinking [they're] a weird couple"; and Zig is homeless and squatting in an empty house?
  2. Here's Omar's post on the episode! I loved this one. If you've decided to survive, you have to make extremely tough choices and be prepared to live with the consequences. You can't have a crazy girl slowing you down. Carol for President.
  3. Here's Jeff's post on the episode!
  4. Here's my post about the episode (but really about Elsbeth)!
  5. Here's what I wrote about frenemies Tina and Tammy!
  6. It feels obvious to me that Sarah's response was the right one. True that she didn't stay after dropping off Max to discuss the matter, but he'd already proved at Hank's shop and presumably throughout the drive that he wasn't interested in understanding her point of view, and when Kristina called after him to get him to stay and explain, he (as usual) ignored her and stomped away. So I'm also curious to see how this plays out, and whether the show stays on Adam and Kristina's side or not. Dave Rose would have really enjoyed being a PhD candidate in Education, I think.
  7. There was science of a sort in Buffalo Bill's project? Plus he raised his own butterflies, right? Entomology?
  8. Thank you, I ALSO got mad at that design getting dinged for being in poor taste! Maybe let's grade HORROR concepts on a curve? It's not like they were creating makeup for the next Henry James adaptation.
  9. Well, it happens. If Enlisted gets picked up, it'll still be in first position for both of them -- as with Damon Wayans Jr. and Happy Endings/New Girl.
  10. The girl who plays Perez did too.
  11. Agreed. It doesn't look fun to play and it's CERTAINLY not fun to watch.
  12. Oof, Sarah, you are so right (as always). Get your court show out of my serial killer drama!
  13. This was such a great episode! It's so rare for a show to be this deft mixing comedy and sweetness, but l loved how the old vets were allowed to be fully rounded characters (including that they were pains in the ass), and the denouement with Pete at the support group was handled in an understated way that made it all the more moving. I will be so sad when the show is cancelled, which seems inevitable.
  14. Here's where I am required to say that Akerman and I went to the same high school in southern Ontario (though she was four years behind me). As a legal immigrant, the "whoops my papers aren't in order?!" sitcom trope is particularly galling to me. Figure your shit out. You're an adult!
  15. Here's what I wrote about it! Spoiler: I agree about Taraji. YIKES.
