With Amber showing up as a blonde as opposed to her normal brunette, I thought it was just a matter of time that Dave DID know her from the gym. I think he is disappointed that Kate is, while pretty, generic when he likes exotic - whatever that means - women. And after doing his events he knows what is out there and he got what he didn’t want. I still can’t understand the match after hearing Cal say that they would work IF he found her attractive. Who does that? You don’t hook people up with folks you are HOPING they will find attractive, especially if the hook up is a legally binding marriage.

I’ve gotten the “it was just couples” or “we should all get sitters and have a group date night”. I’m unmarried and child free. What was the experts’ rationale for Queen and Keith, seeing as he lives with Granny, is in school, and is not making the kind of money she needs? He is cute. She is cute. He is Black. She is Black. That is about it. This may be enough for Cal. I’m glad they dumped Dorian/mom combo for the sake of the woman but it would have been great-as-a-train wreck to see him in Keith’s spot. I know he was not a contender for Kristine but that would have been a fright and delight.

Keith said he wanted real hair in one of his talking head videos but I’m not sure if he told that to the experts. He won’t be pleased when it is time for the Queen to get hers redone. Looks like she isn’t always on top of that since it looked like straw in the first episode. Did they show Kate/Luke’s and Kristine/Keith’s weddings last night? My DVR didn’t pick it up.

Shawniece presented as needy in the original show but that could have also been because Jephte was an asshole and she was trying to get something out of a man who she believed was as committed as she to the process and marriage.

Why do they keep replaying the same stuff? Third hour should just be the last two weddings and an intro to the honeymoon. I’m getting a migraine watching this so to rewatch the same footage is torturous. (I’m turning it off and letting it record to solve that problem.)

Sooooo......Jephte is a child in a man’s body. Got it. Seriously, without a consistent male role model modeling the RIGHT things, it is hard for some men to figure it out. Doesn’t he have 13 siblings and an absentee father? Maybe he has heard his father say “it’s just me doing me”. Who knows? But he is still an asshole for leaving Shawniece in limbo with the “try to stay married” piece. She had a great life before him and he is adding nothing of substance to her - except Laura Denise - and she deserves better. If he doesn’t find her up to his “standards” he can go look for “better” too.....on his own time, without a wife to keep coming back and forth to. I really had high hopes for them. But I also thought they were both mature and honest. Jephte is neither.

I haven’t watched any episodes, just read the boards, so I don’t know....did Jephte actually SAY Shawniece was an “available uterus” or just imply it by his attitude and actions? I need to decide how much to hate him.

Keeping in mind that I didn’t see the episode I will say this: Bishop got the church and family in some shit. IRS issue (probably Mac but ultimately it is Bishop who is responsible for it all). The overly cozy relationship with Rochelle. Lady Mae should have snatched that hoe bald-headed. Giving Rochelle every.muthafkin.dollar he and Mae had to “invest” to get his IRS money. Smelling that young tootie got Bishop all discombobulated and almost costed him and the family Calvary. Come to think of it, it was Mae’s affair that cleared up Calvary’s problems in the form of Grace’s inheritance from her bio dad.

Charity is always an after thought. Her only contribution to the family and really the show is that she has a beautiful voice. Her acting is not great (says someone who sits at a desk all day) and I really don’t care about her melodrama. That’s what it feels like to me - dramatic for no damn reason at all. And whiny.

I didn’t get to watch but I’m desperate to know. Is Lionel Grace’s biological father? If yes, how did Mae take the news? And the Bishop?

Did Gabriel say his mom or adopted mom was the alcoholic? Was he adopted at birth or a little later in life? What happened to his mom? Did she die? Commit suicide? I remember absolutely nothing about Sam’s first wife, their marriage, his family, etc. just his trashiness with the college student. and Asher going down on Connor’s mom was unnecessary and gross. Not bc I have an issue with the act itself but doing his boy’s friend crosses an unforgivable line, IMO

Yes! “Let’s kill him!” was ridiculous, even for the Murder 3. (I know that Laurel hasn’t murdered anyone but she seems comfortable with it when eve Frank isn’t). i would like the Annalise/Connor/Tegan show very much....with Ollie singing in the background sometimes

Ollie singing to Connor brought me to tears in a good way. He has a beautiful voice. I wish them real happiness...starting with Connor’s father hitting the bricks asap. Asher and Connor’s mom in the parking lot....gross. Connor has to address this with Asher eventually but how do you say “dude why was your face in my mom’s crotch?” Michaela looked beautiful. Annalise was stunning. Bonnie was gorgeous. The only thing I remember about Laurel is her panicked look all the time. I wanted to punch her in the face. I always want to punch Frank in the face. Frank didn’t kill Sam. “The kids” killed Sam.

Jacob and Gigi needed to meet the barrel of the gun, with their dumb asses. It’s not over yet so.... i hope someone comes and breaks up the Bishop/Basie deal because we cannot go forward without Bishop. and Charity sang her ass off but you can tell Patti was holding back. That’s good though bc Patti is known for rolling around on the floor and kicking off her shoes. Not what you do in the pulpit. I did think she was wrong for calling Lady Mae Pastor. She will never be Pastor. She can’t preach and she is messy. And she can’t preach. That needed to be repeated.
