  1. What else is bad is how out of the 3 that Negan wants to capture and kill which is Rick, Ezekiel, and Maggie they only capture one and only because Zeke voluntarily gave himself up. They had Maggie dead to rights and didn't bother to take her with them. Simon blathered on about how Maggie would be taken and killed as option A but why wasn't both options for Maggie being taken hostage? Nobody makes good on their shit and I don't want to hear Rick say he's going to kill Negan and just doesn't do it even though he has plenty of opportunity to do so.

I'm still contemplating on whether or not to continue watching this show. I invested 8 1/2 seasons so don't know whether or not to see it through or not. It's apparent they want to keep that wussy frat boy Negan alive and they'll probably keep him alive all the way til the end because writers have a hard on for him.

  2. Laurie Holden said that she signed on for 8 years and she was buying a house in Atlanta until she got a call and told that Andrea was going to be killed. It was done for shock value and nothing more and the show runner at that time was let go. Andrea's death being part of the reason why.

It seems that no actor should buy a house near where the show is being filmed. That seems to be the kiss of death for characters.

  3. Also why didn't Maggie kill Jared? She chooses the guy that almost killed Jesus. Why not kill the guy that tried to escape numerous times? What is Jared, Jesus' ex-boyfriend or something? Is that why they're keeping him alive. The fact that Jared lives longer than Carl is a big WTF.

OMFG and Hahaha - yeah, instead of killing her, he puts a bear hug on the woman with the giant sword and starts monologuing, just as anyone would in a life-or-death struggle.  She's lucky she miraculously escaped before he finished his EVUL taunting, or she would have been toast for sure. Whew! Close call. As Michonne hacked him to bits, my CC repeatedly said "Hyah!" "Hyah!" I did enjoy that.

Gee, with all this breathless excitement, I plumb forgot that Enid murdered Grandma (didn't she? So dark it was hard to tell) because CDB hadn't done quite enough to those people yet. Aaron, you were my last hope and you turned into a speechy, dreary moron too.

Rick has Negan on the floor. Ooops, can't kill him. Rick goes flying out yet another window. Tough as nails, our boy. He took that lickin' with the barbed bat and just kept on tickin.'

It was Dwight's turn to get shot in the arm. Amazing how that never seems to cause any real inconvenience to anyone.

Coral? Well, Rick that what happens while you're out fiddling around with Jadis in your underdrawers, you ninny. This show isn't even fun to mock anymore. It's just dumb and boring.

Oh, but I did like that Daryl finally got his vest back. Highlight of the show.

Yes and why exactly did blonde savior shoot Dwight in the arm instead of killing him for being a traitor? Then we had to hear her monologue until Michonne, Rosita, Daryl and Tara started shooting at her. What horrible shots they were cause they couldn't kill her. Even with her head by the car window.

If Daryl and Tara were going to ram the truck into the compound, they should have stayed around to make sure their plan worked.  At one point these people were communicating with each other and telling each other everything in long drawn out pointless letters, and then for plot purposes they stopped doing that, and started posing for long boring montages.

Yeah Tara & Daryl were getting ready to knit a shirt that says "Their plan worked." Sure it did.

No, it was Eugene. This is why he was fake crying. What little conscience he has was feeling guilty.

That's the problem. They keep trying to find other ways to not make Daryl responsible for his actions. There's always a cop out to his reckless behavior. Maggie basically gave him a hug and a kiss for his part in Glenn's death. It's like no character can be mad at Daryl for long if at all.

  7. You would also think Rick having the bat in his position would hit Negan with the barrel of the bat but hits him with the knob instead. Rich always has opportunity to kill Negan but flat out refuses to for some stupid reason. Oh right for plot so we can continue to hear Negan say shit and dick.

  8. I like how they're trying to minimize Daryl and Tara's part in Saviors getting free. It is their fault and they're on my kill list as number one and two. Rosita use to be high on the list but she dropped down some. Daryl and Tara need to die.

  9. Goodness Enid shoot the very person you're trying to get on your side. You might be doomed.

Look at that Rick, GPK left you high and dry..AGAIN. When will he learn?? Don't trust a bitch that can't speak English correctly.

Since they were gonna kill Carl his death could have been better since he's been around since the beginning.

Don't know how Eugene got the Saviors out that made no sense caus they didn't show anything on how Eugene did that.

Only good thing about this episode was the small scene between Michonne & Judith.

  10. Not to mention that Negan and the Saviors killed all the men of Oceanside. Oceanside ladies are the only smart ones. Instead of being Negan's bitches they got up and left to where they wouldn't be found and armed themselves in case any stranger came to their location.

This show's logic completely baffles me.  If Dwight wants Negan dead so much, he has a gun, go walk into his office and shoot him.  What does that have to do with stopping Eugene from TRYING TO SAVE ALL YOUR LIVES?

It's like Negan is bulletproof which makes no sense and it also makes no sense how certain characters want certain people to be dead but don't take the initiative to do it themselves. Or they become such horrible shooters for no damn reason at all.

    • Rick tells Negan twice that he's going to kill him. Yet had an opportunity when only feet away from him to shoot him and sprays his bullets everywhere but at Negan.
    • Rosita wants Negan dead and stands 3ft away from him and shoots his bat instead
    • Tara wanted Dwight dead but yells at Daryl to do it when she could have done it herself
    • Morgan wants to kill Jared but doesn't because Jesus said not to. Last I check Jesus' words isn't law just go ahead and kill Jared.
    • Tara wanted to kill that one savior but didn't because Jesus said he put his hands up. So what Tara, go ahead and do it.
    • Ladies wanted Eugene to help them kill Negan but why go to Eugene. Why not talk to your real husbands.
    • Dwight wants Negan killed and has a gun but does absolutely nothing.
    • Negan wants to personally kill Rick, Maggie, & Ezekiel but not doing anything to remotely capture them.

What are they afraid of? The consequences of their actions. They're afraid Rick, Maggie or Zeke are gonna sit them in a corner with a dunce cap. Not in a war when they need the numbers. Hell we know Rick has forgiveness. He accepted Carol back after banning her from the prison for killing Karen and David.

I agree with the poster about Sasha's presence being missed. I miss her as she was one of my favorite characters. Show would probably be better if characters like Sasha, Merle, Shane, Glenn, even dumbass Andrea. Especially Glenn with barely ever killing a human and not wanting to killl humans cause he was uncomfortable at one of the Saviors' compounds. Glenn would have been the pacifist that Jesus is now this season and it would have made sense as to why he is a pacifist.

  12. Another boring boring episode. It has been said numerous times and it's gonna be said again. Show has some serious pacing problems.

Little to no action. Eugene talks too fast and talks too damn much. He's getting into Negan territory.

IDK why Rick is so persistent with wanting GPK's help when he knows about Oceanside.

Nothing stood out this episode at all. Not the acting, plot, characters, nothing.

Think writers are trying to outdo themselves with making each season progressively worse than the former.

    Garbage episode.

Rick is so bloody STUPID.   "Here I am with my polaroids! Surrender or else my imaginary army will destroy you!"  Yeah.  He can stay naked in that box for a good long time and think about what supreme dumbass he is.  Alexandria really did make him go soft in the head.

I want the Rick with the gray beard back. The Rick that brutally hacked Terminus to pieces and the one that ripped Joe's skin off with his teeth. He's wasting too much time talking and trying to make alliances. Instead of GPK why not go down to Oceanside and try and plead with them that they're needed. Those photos might have moved them to join in seeing as how some of the Saviors are dead.

It's also boggling how nobody is worried about Heath. Tara and Daryl should have been out looking for him. Tara was with him last and Daryl knows how to hunt and search for people.

Are the garbage people the remnants of Arkham Asylum or something? Seriously, what the hell is up with these people? Is their life so fulfilling they have time to create art while naked? I can understand why people would follow Negan to some degree, but Jadis? Does she sleep with everyone in the camp or something? She must be really good in the sack to convince everyone to live in garbage.

Eww now that's a nasty mental picture of Jadis sleeping with anyone. She probably satisfies herself with those sculptures. Don't know why anyone would want to sleep with her she looks like expired milk.

  15. I don't know why they're keeping long haired Jared alive. He tried escaping twice, well three if you count him rubbing the rock against the rope. He tried during the circus act of the tumbling walkers and tried grabbing that woman's gun. Maybe if Jesus or Maggie make an example out of him to the other Savior hostages. They can't see that Jared can't be trusted and he's going to kill the minute opportunity strikes. They don't think he's going to try and find numerous ways of escaping? If I was Maggie, I would have just shot him but Jared needs to be heavily restrained, like being put in Morgan's makeshift prison cell. Jared better get a brutal death. He killed Benjamin so that alone deserves a brutal death.

Out of all the Saviors, I'm only interested in is Simon (I like Steven Ogg and his interactions w/Greg are fun to watch) and the guy who goes to the Kingdom to pick up the food. The one who doesn't want any trouble, I don't know his name. I don't trust Dwight at all plus had an innocent doctor killed.

  16. I don't understand Rick's intent on visiting GPK and want their allegiance. First Jadis can't speak in full sentence, one of the worst bargainer ever and double crossed him. Plus the stupid bitch keep saying she shot Rick when Rick told her numerous times that he was grazed. If Jadis' intention was to kill Rick in S7 finale then she's one stupid bitch cause she didn't hit him in any vital places.

Also why are GPK just milling about? Didn't at the end of S7 Negan told them and the Saviors that they're going to war. So why aren't the GPK doing anything? They're not out in the fields. Saviors & GPK don't even have walkie talkies to stay in communication with each other in case they need each other during the war.  I just don't understand this.

If Hilltop, ASZ, & Kingdom want to rebuild society & humanity then build it with people who haven't double crossed you, have some humanity left, and can speak in full sentences.

  17. This episode was flat out boring. I expected more than what we got. A whole bunch of characters with nothing going on. All this episode was missing was the kitchen sink. If writers could have found a way to bring in the kitchen sink they would.

You have Rick over with GPK, Carl with Siddiq, Michonne & Rosita being Charlie's Angels, Aaron, Enid, Jesus, Maggie, & Greg at Hilltop, Daryl & Tara joyriding, Carol, Jerry, Zeke, & the Kid at Hilltop and a baby on top of that. What was this episode trying to accomplish here? It was a hot ass mess served with shit.

Poor Carol always saddled with a child. She gotta be tired of that.

    BORING BORING EPISODE.

Gareth though could have become annoying if he had lasted for a full season or more.  He did have an advantage of being killed off early. He was good to watch and yes had a better backstory.  People got tired of the the Gov. as well. Many felt he lasted longer then he should have.

Agree with others about Shane. He would be #1 for me had he not been obsessed with Lori. Why he wanted her or Carl is a mystery to me lol.

That's the thing with villains. You have to know how long to keep them around or when to give viewers a break from them. Negan's expiration date has come a long time ago but writers and Kirkman have such a hard on for Negan's character. IDK why since other sites I visited are pretty underwhelmed or tired o him.

He's not even scary in the least. Unlike Gareth or the Governor, he's just silly and annoying. How intimidating is someone standing there, waving a baseball bat around and  yelling, "My dick is bigger than yours, Rick!"? I wish someone would say to  him, "Stop talking about your penis! Grow up, FFS!" There's not one ep he doesn't mention it, I dont' think. We should have made a drinking game out of it. Every time he refers to his genitals (or makes scatalogical/urological references) - drink!

Yep, Gareth is still the best villain in the series so far followed by Shane (even though Shane was more grey than a real villain). No one else has been able to do creepy like Gareth. Does anyone else wish he would come back to life so he can eat Negan's tongue? That way Negan will finally be able to STFU. Gareth's backstory of being trapped in a boxcar while the women were being sexually assaulted and going hungry had more depth than anything Negan.

  20. I didn't watch it. Reading all your comments and very low score ratings I made the right decision. Just about anything Negan is a no go for me. He's not sympathetic at all and writers had the opportunity to flesh his character out in S7 and decided not to and instead make him a frat boy. Negan is still the worst villain of the show.

  21. Michonne is still healing from the fight with that Garbage Pail Bitch.

Writers have two characters in the mourning stage already being Aaron & Zeke. Who's going to be the one that becomes bitchy like Rosita?

  22. This was a really good episode.

I take off 2 points. 1 for Shiva dying and 2 for that god awful actor the little Neganite who held Zeke hostage. Showing all 70 teeth in all his scenes and stupid ass facial expressions.

Ezekiel was the highlight of the episode for me. Khary did a great job. Jerry killing Teethy McTeeth Neganite. Glad Jerry didn't die. Carol deciding to save Jerry & Zeke over taking the guns.

Also loved that a car chase had a little realism to it with Daryl & Rick not successfully dodging gunshots like you see in most action scenes. Daryl falling off his motorcycle and Rick's car smoking.

More episodes should be like this but not gonna be lucky cause we have to deal with Pontificating Negan next week. Not even sure I want to watch.
