  1. What's funny to me is that with the US version, I'm often thinking 'behind the scenes' production interference is going on! Then with the Canadian BB its been feeling like some of their 'upfront' twists have seemed to have had direct negative results on a few of the HGs. I think that's worse in a way...
  2. Anyone from the US having issues getting global tv website to work with HMA? Thought it might just be a Chrome thing; ETA: Discovered what was wrong, so deleted most of what I'd posted. Chrome needed flv player enabled. Working fine now.
  3. Oh Jocasta! Whoo-ee! Fake Praying Derrick. Hold it against him, you go girl! lol
  4. Ugh. Already sick of hearing 'Hitmen had F2 deal since day 2' crapola. I hate revisionist history.
  5. At least Richard Simmons' annoying-ness can be considered beneficial.
  6. Awesome synopsis of Night 1. I checked in several times over the course of the evening. I got to see the whole drunk Josh thing, wow what an annoying drunk he was too! Looking forward to how this social experiment develops, both in Utopia and the forum communities.
  7. http://www.utopiatv.com/home I went ahead and got my passport, and watched all the videos so far. I can't wait for the Live Feeds to start; I think this could be a really interesting show. As a Big Brother superfan who has been terribly disappointed for the last several seasons though, I know that it will be highly dependent on the cast.
  8. From Jokers: There you have it. Frankies real reason to get Zach out. He is such a frickin' pos.
  9. Yeah? Well then the dipstick should have gone along with Donny's idea for the TA task. He is the vilest flippiest flopper I've seen on this show. He disgusts me in a way that even Andy couldn't manage.
  10. Same here, 20 against. I liked Donny's 'get him off the block' idea much better. I can't remember what it was, but I think even Derrick's idea was preferable.
  11. Donnie talked about this strategy several times, and has used it in a few different ways. He said he'd tell X person he'd vote for Y person if he's in jury, to get them a) thinking about NOT taking that person to the end and/or b) to get them thinking about what they are doing and how it will affect them jury wise and/or c) to keep him in, not want him in jury and/or d) to stir the pot. I think Donnie did try. Several times. A few different ways. And some of them nearly worked... but it always came back to the numbers man Derrick (with all his little minion puppets telling him everything), and the famewhore Frankie (poised to stab or spew venom lies), in my opinion. I state reluctantly that Derrick is playing the best game. But I don't for a moment think he'd have fared this well with regular HOH set-up (Nor would the large alliance). Or with a group of people as astute as Donny. So I don't really respect Derrick's game. I was really disappointed by this whole TA thing in general. By that point, Donny saw it as a real possibility for a good alliance, he was hopeful, and excited and honored to be chosen by America. However, Derrick and Frankie were already in cahoots and working behind the scenes and as soon as the little yay, TA, rah, rah we will stick together was over, the two of them split off alone and basically decided it was them two vs. Donnie, they'd run it together and just tell him what was necessary. SMH That was a missed opportunity, not just for Donnie, but for the two of them as well. It is always more difficult every year for the oldest HG's. However, I do tire of hearing this about his beard. It is known that he did want to shave before he came on the show and they wouldn't let him. Blame casting, not Donnie. He has also wanted to shave, and even trim it up since being in the house, and they tell him no. Not that having a beard should make anyone a target in the first place, I think its rather silly. I, for one, happen to like a man with facial hair. But I'd be after him to keep it clean, neat and trim! At this point I just want to see anyone but Frankie, Derrick or Christine to win. If Derrick makes it to F2, he will win. I'll admit to being petty and just not wanting to see him there.
  12. Yes it does. Every year since 2006 I've rushed to pre-order the season pass to the live feeds. I'm heavily anticipating, and ready every year to plop out my money before I even see who is cast. I can honestly say, that for the first time EVER, I seriously regret spending the money on the feeds this season. It has been a complete and utter waste of my time and money... But I learned a valuable lesson. I WILL NOT ever pre-order the feeds again. I will wait and see how the season shapes up first before even considering it. I know I'm only one person, but everywhere I look and read the refrain is the same; so CBS should take note. ETA - I haven't had my feeds on in about a week, and have only checked in very occasionally since the beginning. And not even an Endurance Comp yet!
  13. Have you tried http://www.hamstertime.net/ht/index.php?&showforum=12 ? You do have to register, but they do a really good, humerous, occasionally fiesty blow by blow account of what's going on in the house. They do tend to use nicknames though, but they probably won't be hard for you to figure out. Many of the TWOP'ers were/are members of Hamstertime.
  14. I am betting that everyone is gonna be pissed (even if only privately) when its discovered he's a cop.
  15. Put me in the I don't agree camp as well. He makes me CRINGE! And honestly, the fact that he has a daughter himself yet can so easily act this way causes me even more concern. To me, Derrick is only committed to Keeping The Numbers, as opposed to any persons in the interchangeable alliance/alliances he's been a part of. I would love to be able to feel good about Derrick's game play, which has been spot on in many respects. However, as I have watched his game play out on the feeds I have lost all respect for it because of his attitudes, words and actions. That said, as much as I don't want Donny evicted this week, I'd much rather he go than Nicole or Victoria, as they both have been 'poisoned' by Derrick and could sway Hayden. Donny has had Derrick's number for a long time now, and is a big risk to Derricks game. I'd rather that he be the influence going into jury. I wish we knew for sure if they are bringing back one or two HG's. It'd be awesome if they wait till they have 4 jurors, pair them up, and do a BOTB type competition, bringing the pair left standing back into the house. I'd love to see Donny AND Hayden return together and get Derrick, Frankie, Cody and Christine on the hot seats where they belong for a change.
  16. I remember that convo, Derrick said to Frankie that, 'We're pretty much gonna have to carry Donnie through this' and then later made some reference to dragging him that I didn't fully hear. It all comes back to the 'alliance of 8' if you ask me. There's still some semblance of it existing, and Derrick, as Donnie pointed out once awhile back, was in the 'keep the numbers' camp. Yeah, and if it gets outed some way as being false I fully expect Frankie and Derrick to point right back at Donnie and how he's shady and always trying to flip things. I hope karma starts biting those two in the ass.
  17. Derrick wanted her to nominate Donny; and that is not the first time he's thrown Donny under the bus. It actually started just before they cut for the Live Show, when Frankie was starting crap already by insinuating that Donny was trying to flip the house to save Pao. I'd hoped, that since many have begun to mistrust Frankie, that Derrick wouldn't even give that a thought. I mean, Donny flat out told everyone he was voting Zach out because Pao was his friend... But, shortly after the Live show when the feeds returned I'll be danged if I didn't hear Derrick repeat the same thing to Caleb. I was not amused. ETA: So while Derrick may be all buddy, buddy, rah rah, Team America to Donny's face, for some reason he seems to be more with Frankie (regarding TA), and Caleb (the not alliance of 8); in my opinion. I hope I am wrong. Yep, Derrick is straight up lying to Donny right now in the SR about his involvement in the Bomb Squad.
  18. Donny and Cody have been talking pretty honestly with each other this 'morning'; and Donny doesn't seem all that protective of Frankie because of the TA like Derrick, nor does he seem to equate him being on TA as Frankie being honest and trustworthy. And Donny has rightly pointed out a few times that Devin, Caleb, Amber and Frankie are together; and that Derrick is in the 'keep the numbers' camp.
  19. Man. Please tell me Cody isn't drinking Devin's kool-aid! I mean, I like that he has it out for Caleb but I thought he was getting a good bead on people. Tell me it ain't so!
  20. I don't like the fact that Derrick ASSUMES that America voted him, Frankie and Donny to be together as a team because we think they are the only honest ones to be trusted. Derrick trusting Frankie is going to cause trouble, big time. Him thinking they are the ONLY ones to be trusted, messes with the Derrick/Cody/Zach thing I was kind of happy to see brewing. Plus, Derrick and Frankie have talked together quite a bit, making it out like they are gonna have to drag or pull Donny through this, and being a bit exclusionary, and I don't like that either.
  21. As a female myself, and having raised 3 daughters, I'd have to say that this guy has the creep factor X 10. He has viewed seemingly benign interactions with Amber and read way more into them than was actually there; he became seriously obsessed with the girl with as much amplification to his ego as there was magnitude to his belief that Amber was just as into him. After much carrying on with the 'bros' about her, he finally 'professed' his feelings to her. It was very, very awkward, as well as telling that she most certainly was just not into him but he failed to pick up on that, instead making up delusional excuses to himself and others as to why she wouldn't 'show her true feelings'. Over the next little while, Amber mostly avoided him, talking with a few of the girls about it. Then she got her period, and took to her bed. During this time, Caleb began, to slide into this whole 'she led him on', 'she was just using him to get further into the game'; and his mood, attitude and facial expressions became, at least to me, concerning. I could understand totally why her family might be a little worried for her. ETA: To be fair though, everyone in the house is sick of it, the guys are tired of Caleb going on and on and on about her, yet no one has tried to quell his notions any, and in fact a few of them seem to enjoy either stirring the pot (Devin), or fanning the flames of this guys delusions. (just about everyone else.)
  22. Voting began for live feeders. Cast your vote for what they get to eat with the Slop...
  23. Not even sure Crazy Eights still exist at this point. Its the Bomb Squad now, or something like that. (Includes a few from first group in, a few from second)
  24. It's even sketchier than that... They put up Paola because Joey outed that she was the 'leader' and one that pushed for the all girl's alliance. But; he claims 'some people' have brought it to his attention that she could have just said that to make them think she was doing them a solid by telling but really she could be trying to hide the fact that she wants to put an all female alliance together. My question is, Does he seriously think that? In which case this guy is way over thinking and will reach burn out level soon. Anyone know what the real reason is, if any? ETA - And none of his crew think Paola is a competition threat. Um, and they think Joey is? What gives?
