I mean...can she recover from this? The counselor seemed to make note of Ava's absence. I hope there are consequences, cuz her bailing like that was pretty irresponsible.
Speaking of the counselor...I loved that character so much! She just cut through all the noise and nonsense. And her facial acting was stellar.

Those three kids seemed pretty self-absorbed and mired in past hurts. Once they moved out, I can see them not knowing much about their mom's life and business.

Will's accent is TRIPPY. To my Texas born ear, it sounds absolutely unnatural. In the first episode, I kept trying to place it. I thought maybe he was a transplanted New Yorker? And sometimes I thought he sounded like he might be Cajun? Now, I've decided he sounded like he has a mouth full of pebbles.

I adore Kristen Chenoweth, she's so witty! I know she's very petite, but her face looks so skeletal that I found it concerning.

This is the only full episode of this show I've watched, and it was absolutely bonkers, in the best possible way! Is it always like this? It came off as a spoof of a procedural show.

Yup, and I hate it every time I see it. You are right, if it's not Angie, he will cheat with somebody else. And even though it's wrong on both parties involved in the cheating, I feel that more responsibility falls on the married person who took a vow to be faithful.

Such powerful acting this episode!
I agreed with Faith, I was so hoping the new sheriff's body wouldn't be found, leaving the door open for her to have escaped.
Wooooooo, the moxie on Olmwood's wife! I knew as soon as she sent the husband and kids away what was about to happen.
I have mixed feelings about it. On the one hand, Mrs. Olmstead did what she thought was necessary to protect her marriage and family. And, honestly, it was a fairly gentle warning. Still devastating for Angie.
But, I wonder if she confronted her husband at all.
On a lighter note, lizard people were also mentioned on the Night Court reboot, which came on earlier in the evening.

People, I think y'all would like this! The students are appealing and the teacher is strict yet warm, with a wicked sense of humor. She's excellent at putting people at ease and meeting them where they are. She makes the lessons fun and relevant.
And I'll be honest, I learned some things, too!

I'm currently watching the Hulu series and came here to watch this while I wait for the next episode to drop. I'm on episode of the documentary, episode 6 of the series.
The documentary really fills in some gaps in the series. And the series is moving full speed ahead and seems to skip some things and rearrange the timeline. I will say that the series, dramatization that it is, does pretty much touch on a lot of what the documentary covers. One big change in the series is that Steve's wife Irene was hands on in the running of the club, but apparently IRL she wasn't involved in any way.

Just finishing up this episode.
Steve is not portrayed in this series as super likeable or charming, but after this episode, I do feel for him. How horrible must it be for him to create something then have a white man come in and claim credit and have the world believe it?
Sure, both Steve and Nick are egotistical dicks. But, truly, I can understand why Steve behaves as he does. He is awkward, status obsessed, and a not particularly imaginative person who, as an immigrant and non-white man doesn't quite grasp the nuances of the culture he desperately wants to be a part of. And we see him repeatedly getting shit on by white men who don't respect or take him seriously. He is vulnerable to weasels like Ray because the outward trappings of wealth don't earn him the respect he feels he deserves.
And Nick understands the game he is playing. He understands what he can get way with as a white man. He also navigates with ease the world that Steve longs to be part of.
The snowball fight was an interesting moment between them. Steve's childlike wonder while interacting with the snow and Nick guiding him in making his first snowball was touching. Steve was open to learn and Nick was kind in teaching him until the moment soured.
I really like Irene. She is smart and has a lot of heart.
And, honestly, I like Nick and Denise as a pair. They work well together.

As powerful as this episode was, I can only imagine how gut wrenching the final episode is gonna be.
I hate to see the direction the world has gone in, that these AMAZING artists are receiving this hateful treatment.
Does anyone else wonder about the crowds at the drag shows? I sometimes wonder if they are actual townspeople or are people that are brought in.
I also wonder about what kind of aftercare the first time drag Queens receive, cuz this shit is emotionally wrenching. Eureka, Bob ans Shangela too, as they act in a capacity as mentors and unofficial therapists. In this current toxic political climate, it's gotta be so stressful on everyone.

I LOVE Keke's big, bold, and vibrant personality! She gave 100% and the cast was totally vibing with her.
Personally, I didn't have any problem understanding her, and, just like with the Megan Thee Stallion episode, I laughed so much.
The Dynasty spoof might have been my favorite skit. And Hello Kitty...well, I learned some things, lol. Also enjoyed the performances in the Big Boy song. Like @topanga said, the rapping and singing were AMAZING, and I love that the women are making music videos. Punky especially has some talent in that area, and I'm glad to see her used more overall.
The new cast members are getting more opportunities to perform and I love to see it!
For the folk that enjoy Keke, check her out on season 3 of HBO's Legendary! On a show chock FULL of HUGE personalities, Keke fits right in and sometimes even stands out.
I think Hollywood and society doesn't always know how to handle wholehearted, full throttle, outspoken women like Keke. She's no doormat or shrinking violet, and I hope she keeps on shining and making the world gag on her fabulousness.

I really appreciate the people who are posting accurate info on here about Harry and Meghan's experiences with racism and the negative treatment from the royal family. It is because TRF are so wealthy, high status and high profile that, YES, they do think that they can say and do any kind of foul thing to anyone with no repercussions.
Why is it so hard to believe that a family immersed in and benefitting from generations of colonialism could possibly be racist?
I've never seen Love Actually. I'm good.

I think your niece is on point. Last month, my mom (who is just about Joy's age) went in for a hip replacement. A couple of days later, she developed complications and pneumonia and had to be hospitalized. While in the hospital, she caught covid. She had never had it before and thankfully didn't have worse symptoms than a cough. It was the pneumonia that knocked her flat. Again, thank God for vaccines and boosters!!

Some of his behaviors - need for routine, resistance to change and trying new things, the limited diet, challenges picking up emotional cues - remind me of my autistic daughter.
