  1. This is dark. I was expecting something more along the line of a farce/parody. However, the behind the scenes manipulations didn't surprise me, especially after reading an interview with Chris Lambton, the runner-up on Ali Fedowsky's season of the Bachelorette. Chris said that when they were down to three guys, he didn't feel a romantic connection with Ali so he asked to leave. Frank, one of the other finalists had already bailed, so the producers told him he couldn't leave. He said after he told them that he wasn't going to propose, they made it appear that it was Ali's decision to let him know before hand that he wasn't the one and save him the embarrassment of a rejection. Chris went on to say that they offered him a ton of money to be the Bachelor, but after witnessing first hand what it takes to make the show, he didn't want any part of it.

  2. I think Chris had romantic feelings for Jade, Becca and Britt before he realized she was a total flake. I don't think he saw Kaitlyn as anything other than fun and an easy lay. Whitney won by default.

Whitney is what Chris wanted.  Britt is who Chris wanted.

  3. Yep.   I'm thinking Whitney decided to ride a horse and dump a FarmBoi, and didn't think his tractor was sexy.

Word on the street is that Prince Farming did the dumping.  From what I read, Whitney didn't see it coming and is heart broken.

  4. So let me see if I understand this.  When we were first introduced to Veeral, we were told he was a doctor, but now we find out that he dropped out of medical school and is now working in administration.  In all the time that Ragini and Veral were dating, the subject of where his parents would live never came up  - until now.  A poster once said that their storyline seems manufactured and that Veeral appears to have an eye on a career in the entertainment industry.  I am starting to believe this just might be true.  I wouldn't be surprise if their next stop is "Marriage Boot Camp - Reality Stars".

Maria looks and carries herself like a 40 year old woman, while her "husband" looks and carries himself like a 14 year old.  What a match!

  5. In terms of the kissing, sure Emily didn't kiss a bunch of guys immediately, but she sure got on Arie fast and there was a whole lot of tonguing going on between them during that season. And for all the talk about her having the guys jumping through hoops, it's interesting that many forget that she chose the one guy who WASN'T doing that. The guy who she actually ended up chasing a little during the season.

The fact that she knew "the guy" [Jef] was a multi millionaire, probably had something to do with it.

  6. Not surprised.  I always said, had Becca agreed to move he would have chosen her.

I agree.  Truth be told, Chris didn't seem all that into Whitney.  I believe she won by process of elimination.  But for their spectacular implosions, the final two would have been Britt and Jade.

  7. It's like Kaitlyn hasn't switched over from Bachelor contest to THE BACHELORETTE. She keeps explaining to these guys why she likes them sooo much and then going in for a kiss. The men just sit there and smile smugly. Ugh, that's not how it's done. The show needs to have Emily coach the new bachelorette every season. She sat back while the guys ran circles around each other.

Trista also had the guys eating out of her hand.  I have a feeling Kaitlyn's season is going to end like DeAnna's, in that the guys are going to really resent her.

  8. Come on - she knew she wasn't going to get the gig - it was set up from the beginning.

Britt didn't stand a chance, especially when the producers found out that Nick was sniffing around Kaitlyn and that his advances were welcomed.  Nick = controversy; controversy = ratings.  Nuff said.

  9. I think it's hilarious that after all the shit Britt got, she is the one who got the actual relationship out of the show. She got raked over the coals and fans are going to be soooo pissed when the season unfolds and see how everything went down.

It should be interesting to see how the Britt haters/Kaitlyn fans feel about Kaitlyn at the end of the season.

  10. Sean and Davina ....  I think she has a point, he just isn't that interested in her thoughts and feelings, because he wants it to be all about Sean and what Sean says, feels and needs all the time.  And Davina needs someone who is confident, and can handle her, instead of her trying to handle them.

Davina needs someone who is going to worship the ground she walks on; someone who is willing to tell her how wonderful and special she is, each and every day.

  11. Ryan was really looking forward to being intimate with Jaclyn, so obviously something happened that turned him off.  I wouldn't be surprise if Jessica and Ryan D were the only couple to stay together.

  12. I can believe that Jessica and Ryan signed on for the exposure and to further their "so call acting careers", but I doubt they were romantically involved before filming.  While the "all we ever have for dinner is sushi" and "this is how we do our laundry" scenes may have been reenacted, their arguments seem too raw and brutal for them not to be real.  If their "skills" were that good, they wouldn't need this show.

  13. One thought I had: the producers have no qualms airing the fights between Jess and Ryan D. But they didn't show Sean's confronting the hotel staff. How ugly was that scene, I wonder?

When it comes to Sean and Davina, for whatever reason I believe there are a lot that's not being shown.  They were all over each other at the wedding, and then on their honeymoon they seemed cool and distant; I sensed tension.  I have a feeling something happened "off camera" that created a rift.  Come to think of it, all the important conversations and juicy incidents seem to happen when the cameras aren't rolling.  Bah!

  14. Does anyone else think the reason Jessica waits to bring stuff up on camera is because she feels safer with a witness?  Ryan seems to be very concerned about how she represents him on camera but has little self awareness about how his actions come across on camera.

I believe the main reason Ryan is so angry is because Jessica waited until the camera was rolling to voice her unease with regards to the "trashy tattoo" comment and that he'd taken $100 of their gift money.  I believe if she'd broach him about the incidents in private, he probably would have responded differently.  Sad that she felt this was her only recourse.  At this point, I don't think they trust each other.

  15. Most of the houses are cute and close together but compared to most areas in the Bronx (with the exception of Riverdale, where I lived) it must look like a suburban paradise to Jessica.

There are actually some very nice, middle class, safe and beautiful neighborhoods in the Bronx.  I don't think it would really make a difference where Jessica grew up, because she seems to be touting several bags of issues.  When she told Ryan that her ex-boyfriend's family thought he was too good for her, he actually smirked.  Jessica seems to have a lot of confidence when the cameras are on, because that is when she goes for his jugular.  I believe that is what made him so angry.  I can't stand Ryan.  He appears to be arrogant and thinks way too highly of himself.  However, I can understand where he is coming from.  The camera aren't around 24/7.  If something is bothering her, how about waiting until they are alone and letting him know how she is feeling. Instead, she holds it until the cameras start rolling, thereby making him look like an even bigger douche.  Unless that is her intention.

  16. And Kate's already delivered a baby girl. That was fast! Kate appears to have had the quick and unproblematic birth that Jill was hoping for (hospitals and real doctors aside).

That was the first thing that popped into my head when I heard that Kate delivered in less than three hours after entering the hospital, and walked out ten hours later.  Jill must be dying.  Hee!

  17. It's kind of interesting to read on here that a lot people think that a woman should have a home cooked meal for her husband on the table. I mean it's nice to do, but it's not a woman's "job" to have a meal for her husband.

I believe you are taking things out of context. Jessica said that she enjoys cooking, but so far she hasn't made an effort to do so,  subsequently, they are having sushi for dinner every single night.

  18. So now Pettifleur is black.  Since when?  If memory serves, when she was listing her "roots", not once did she mention the word "black".  She seems fascinated with the "bee" word.  I can't with this woman.  She seems to be trying really hard to be controversial and it isn't working.  Hopefully, they won't bring her back for season three.

  19. I'm also wondering who's voting for Chris. I didn't think he was well-liked as a bachelor.

I think that only a fraction of Bachelor/ette fans post on the message boards, and most of them tend to dislike the lead.  It wouldn't surprise me to learn that Chris is pulling the most votes.

  20. What's up with Lydia's marriage? She NEVER mentions Andrew anymore and last season she was bragging about how wonderful a husband, architect, provider, father, etc. he was and now she never even utters his name.

From what I understand, Andrew wasn't happy with the way they were portrayed on season one, and didn't want Lydia to return for season two.  I believe he "allowed" her to return under the condition that she tone down her behavior and that he didn't have to be part of the show.

  21. Around the 42 minute mark last night, my heart started pounding.  Something just didn't seem right, so I turned over to "Welcome to Myrtle Manor".  I am glad I did, because I don't think I would have been able to handle it.  RIP Mc Dreamy.  Thanks for the memories.

  22. God help Sean if he does sleep with Davina, because she will just point out how it didn't match her expectations. And then she will make him talk about it with her for 14 hours.

I have a feeling that if Sean was "sleeping" with Davina, being in Manhattan would be a lot more tolerable.

  23. Wow!  A little makeup and a softer hairstyle can do wonders.  I've always thought Jana was gorgeous, but never noticed that Jinger and Joy are both quite attractive.  I think with the exceptions of Jill and Josie, the Duggars girls are very pretty.
