  1. I'm just glad they keep finding thing for Scott Lobdell to do.  I'd hate for them to lose such a major talent.

If they're not going to go back to more of the pre-Flashpoint continuity, what's the point of all this?  And do we need two new characters with Superman's powers?

Although Helena Bertinelli is Huntress again, which, thank God.

  2. I have never seen an interview with the Temple jurors.  It would be interesting to hear why they voted guilty.

Ultimately, it doesn't matter.  He may absolutely have killed his wife, and the jury may absolutely have convicted him based solely on the legitimate evidence of his guilt.  But Siegler invalidated all of that by deciding to play dirty pool.

What really depresses me is the knowledge that Texas will be more likely to vacate the conviction based on the fact that he's white.

I will support any episode that features Marcella Fierro.  I adore her.

  3. I didn't think Yvonne's was great, but I did prefer it to Melissa's.  I get why she went home, but I feel like the totality of her work this season has been stronger than Melissa.

Walter's was clearly the best, but I've got to go against the grain and say I also really liked Rob's.

  4. You know, for whatever problems this show might have, Noah Glavin is not one of them.  It may just be his enormous puppy-dog eyes, but he makes Kenny someone charmingly naive, instead of annoyingly so.  Even if the show doesn't last past this season, I hope he continues to land high-profile roles.

Although I know I'm getting old when Pat's square jaw is what I'm watching for.

  5. Didn't like the Surprise Ride the first time, didn't like them now.

Just looking at the Gatorade-colored Beatbox "wine," my stomach kind of curdled.  I mean, say the inventor of Boone's Farm had come into the Tank, would Mark have enthused about how they also sell fun.

I thought the same about The Coop as Showthyme.  How is it sustainable?

There are always going to be families have new children.  I don't know if Coop's services will always be popular, but that's really true of any business.

Also, their new partner was going to focus her efforts on the Bay Area, which isn't hurting for rich parents trying to outdo each other.

  6. I enjoy the level of sucking up inherent in filling their fake vending machine with Shark Tank products.  Although I can't tell you how many times I've been out and realized I didn't have a Bottle Breacher.

Can someone explain to me what exactly they meant by saying that swiping your credit card would connect to their team in New York?  I assume any vending machine connects to credit card processor, but that didn't seem to be what they were describing.

  7. There is no "ire".  It was just an observation.  Clark has seemingly had no issue profiting off of this case for all of these years.  It just seems kind of sad to me.

So have most of the attorneys involved.  You don't hear from Cochran or Kardashian because they're dead, Like I was saying in the other thread, Barry Scheck seems to be the only one of them, on either side of the table, who hasn't eaten lunch on the story at least a little.

And as was mentioned, Greta Van Sustren and Nancy Grace have profited far more than any of them.

  8. Clark just will not quit milking this case for publicity will she?

Is she supposed to hide in a cave for the rest of her life?

Alan Dershowitz isn't shy about being in the media either.  Where's the ire directed toward him?

  9. I always like when they have actors on (I think recurring Guest Judge Doug Jones goes to the top of the list), because even when they can give feedback on how it's going to look on camera, they can also give feedback on how wearing that stuff is going to feel.  They're not all winners, but this went pretty well.

  10. In all of this discussion about the Dream Team, does anybody know where Barry Scheck's head is these days? I mean, it's pretty clear that Robert Kardashian and Shapiro had some regrets about the way OJ's defense was handled, but he seems to be kind of a cypher.  He didn't write a book (as far as I know), he hasn't spoken out since the show has been on.

He co-founded the Innocence Project, so it's really hard for me to think badly of him, but I do wonder.

  11. The only thing that I technically "mind" about Mel's save was that this is going to give us the inevitable "I really need to prove myself this week!" at the top of the next episode.  When she said she made eyes at home, I was like "Oh, thank God, we'll get a break from her doubting herself."  Not so much.

I understand that Melissa's was a lot of work, and I could appreciate the level of detail, but it was just too busy.  I was worried about Rob's, but shouldn't have been.

I did feel bad for Mel and Rob.  They're both on the short side, and that was a lot of model to work on.

  12. Yeah, that moment was godawful, but it wasn't bad enough to ruin the rest of it.  I think the way they basically told Paul Jenkins "We want you to do this book, write what you want" made the overall story a lot richer.  I mean, you could read the main story and come away fairly sympathetic to Tony and the pro-reg people.  Then you discover that Tony, Reed Richards, and Hank Pym are awarding themselves no-bid contracts.  Then it upends that again.

Anyway, here's more information about Lee Daniels' Civil War II, Based on the Novel Push by Sapphire.
