  1. I have a hard time with this argument strictly because Shonda is still there and still gets the final say on everything. It isn't like she handed it over to them and is completely ignoring it or left all together like some creators/show runners/producers occasionally do.
  2. Good lord, they really are trying to shove Penny into every storyline possible: https://www.instagram.com/p/BB8LC2TiyN-/
  3. The 12x18 table read was February 8th, so they are probably finishing that/starting 19 now.
  4. I liken Penny to a tremendously suckier version of Arizona, so why would she want to date that? Heck, bring Hilarie Burton back. Or Nikki DeLoache. Or that crazy stage 5 clinger Ortho nurse from a few seasons ago. They'd all be better choices.
  5. I think Sarah and Jesse are up either after this season or next. Not sure about anyone else.
  6. Looks like Nancy will be "there" via Skype: https://twitter.com/HomeandFamilyTV/status/698914799552327680
  7. I think that was their subtle nudge of reminding the audience that Meredith and Arizona are the only ones left from the plane crash, and that Arizona went through the same thing with Sofia (offscreen, of course) seeing her without a leg/with a prosthetic for the first time.
  8. I feel like "Arizona debates dating (which, LOL!)" will last all of 2 seconds before she ends up having to run interference between the Weber/Maggie/DeLuca situation.
  9. She's an addict. As someone who has known people struggling in that way, I think about things they've done to themselves and others and I cringe at the thought of how it would be filmed and played out week after week. Amelia is downright tame in comparison.
  10. This is something that bugs me off and on about both Sara and Kevin. It's like they forget sometimes that they're not on a stage, they're close up on camera but they're still acting stage-y. I thought the episode was generally acted well, I just hate 10 second info dumps and another time jump. Would've worked better for me as the mid season finale and then a more complete premiere episode for aftermath.
  11. I used to write the kids thing off as the show not wanting to deal with labor laws, but not even mentioning them or seeing them in obvious situations is a bit much. I guess it was easier when they were babies and they could just be held in a scene, but now they're at talking age and would take up more screentime. They have a hard enough time divying up screentime as is.
  12. I think she meant more in the media. Because, from what I remember, there was a bit of a "well, now Meredith will finally pay attention to Derek with Yang gone" kind of mentality. With Derek and Yang gone, it was "OH, NO! What ever will Meredith do now? Her life is over!" mentality. I don't know if I'm explaining that well.
  13. It was actually interesting during Christmas break, Grey's was trending out of the blue on twitter. People were binge watching it on Netflix and tweeting up a storm about it, and talking about being caught up on it so they can watch live with friends now.
  14. I honestly think that 95% of me is intrigued by Meredith/Arizona scenes solely because Ellen and Jessica are so close IRL.

  16. Someone on twitter spoiled what the Meredith/Arizona scene is about. Sounds sweet.
  17. The thing that confuses me is that, I was looking at pics from this event where they showed the episode and they had a Q&A with cast members. The cast members that represented? Giacomo, Jason and Martin. How in the world would those 3 make a good GA Q&A?
  18. Didn't he just recently get out of rehab? I digress. I'm not particularly excited about her, but I'm kinda glad if she's finally on because she's pretty much been the first rumor to leak the last 4-5 seasons. Even the speculation is predictable. A 80's-90's sitcom gal, the Bachelor, A "Real" Housewife. Eh.
  19. FWIW: http://www.usmagazine.com/entertainment/news/jodie-sweetin-signed-on-to-dancing-with-the-stars-season-22-w163326
  20. I think she'd end up with Val, by request. They're friends and Val (along with Maks) are guesting on the reboot.
  21. I may have to do some digging for it, but I swear there was a quote from Jim Pickens saying that the first 3-4 episodes deal with the fallout of what happens to Meredith. Also, Kevin posted a bunch of BTS pics from directing episode 14, and one was of Meredith operating. Not that she's over things, but still, operating.
  22. This sort of reminds me of S7 to be honest. They were hellbent on making that musical work, and every other part of the season became secondary. That's what it feels like to me. They decided that this was their annual gimmick episode and planned it as such and then Debbie got Denzel on board so they worked it in to fit his schedule rather than it making sense in the context of the season as a whole.
  23. Teresa Giudice from Real Housewives (she's the one who just got out of jail) has a GMA interview, so people are speculating because GMA = ABC = DWTS = a redemption for her. She's tall 5'8. She's like the prototypical Tony partner.
  24. Oh, I know. But, even the cast is less hyping the episode itself, and more "OMG, guys, Denzel Washington!" Which, I suppose I get from a professional standpoint, but it's almost like they're softening the blow in a way of "I know you wanted answers about (insert cliffhanger here) but whole new storyline and Denzel Washington instead!"
  25. Part of me feels like the episode was born merely out of Shonda & Co being like "We got Denzel Washington to direct! This can't be just any old episode!" As for Meredith and therapy? I feel cheated as an Arizona fan. An amputation followed by OOC behavior and zero explanation or acknowledgement of how she felt towards it away from in relation to Callie. Sorry, years long vent. Can't help it.
