  1. They did a little Facebook Live Q&A this morning if anyone is interested to watch. They seem to have a good vibe between them. Sounds like they have a Ballroom dance first. Crossing my fingers for Foxtrot. http://facebook.com/Hinchtown ETA: Found a YouTube link:
  2. Are they continuity failing in the whole Callie/Arizona, Mommy/Mama thing again? Lol.
  3. I agree. That's why I don't think a C/A reunion is as far fetched as some assume. They literally didn't interact on screen at all for the longest time and then all of the sudden they got thrown together again where they were fine for a couple episodes and then this whole custody crap. They have no choice but to work something out for the sake of their kid.
  4. Amelia booked it from the church in her dress in the rain.
  5. It was more crafted to give Penny a reason to turn up at the dinner party as a surprise to Meredith. Everything after that was pretty pointless. Those fans that were at the church they were filming at gave away one kind of big, but unsurprising spoiler for the finale, so I do kind of wonder where they're taking all of this next season.
  6. I think they could have a moment without it being a full blown reunion. If Sara were leaving, you'd think they would've given Arizona a new love interest on screen this season rather than having her date around off screen and being BFFs with Weber. I don't know if Jessica's pregnancy played a role in that, but it shouldn't have.
  7. I'm still going with my thought that Callie, whether she knew it or not, was trying to get away from having to see Arizona every day. Callie saying that she's "stuck" in Seattle stood out to me because in 11x05 her reason for breaking up with Arizona was that she didn't want to be "stuck being with someone who feels stuck."
  8. I have no idea what Callie and Arizona's role in the finale will be. You had Kevin saying something resparks between them unexpectedly, and Sara and Jessica didn't film at the wedding, they both wrapped in late April. Then Debbie tweeted that pic with them where they were both in street clothes and clearly not at the hospital. I think it'll just be a scene or two with Sofia since the little girl who plays her is in the episode. I saw a theory that Arizona comes by with Sofia only to find Callie drunk and takes care of her and truths come out, but I truly have no clue with the other big stuff going on.
  9. 2.1 and 7.7 million in overnights. http://www.spoilertv.com/2016/05/ratings-news-13th-may-2016.html?m=1
  10. As a fan in the LGBT demographic, the thing that frustrates me the most is seeing people think that Shonda represents the community well just because she hasn't killed off Callie or Arizona yet, but she has killed off Derek and Mark, the token straight white guys.
  11. Maybe they wanted Penny to be to Callie what Finn was to Meredith. Seemingly perfect, perfect for her, what she should want. But, it's been mostly talk and very little show with C/P. I was talking with a friend, and she pointed out to me that Callie gets more emotionally tied to women when she's in relationships, but is willing to let go of men for similar reasons (the cop last season that was too boring for her) I wonder if that's intentional on the writers part.
  12. I think part of it is Shonda's love of actor recycling. The girl who plays Penny was on Scandal for 2 seasons, so I guess she built up a bit of good graced loyalty.
  13. This is what threw me and some of my friends off. In S8, Arizona was referred to as Mama, and Callie as Mommy. So, when we saw the episode, it was like...um...oh.
  14. I saw a good point, I believe it was on tumblr, so I can't take credit for it, but all season Penny's main function has been to cause tension between people (mainly Callie and Meredith and then Meredith and Amelia) but she wasn't the reason they fixed their relationships, they did that on their own. Callie and Arizona were having a conversation on the bench and then Penny shows up and it's like all the air is sucked out and it's never finished. Will be interesting to see these last 2 episodes and if conversations happen.
  15. Arizona was the only one who's never put Callie down in the sense of thinking Ortho is less important of a specialty than others. She believed Callie would fix her because of it, and when she couldn't, Arizona resented feeling like a science experiment that needed fixed after the fact.
  16. The issue with Callie and Arizona is that they both operate on assumption rather than truth. Arizona assumed Callie amputated her leg and resented her for it, and Callie let her until Alex told the truth. Callie assumed Arizona was "trapped" into a life with a kid she didn't want, and that Arizona putting work ahead of Sofia was "proof" in that Callie believes you can't be passionate at both, and taking Callie to court and fighting was Arizona's proof that she can have both and be successful at it and most importantly want to have both. Now Callie knows that truth. They broke up to be "free" of each other, yet now they're stuck together in a situation that neither wants.
  17. I agree. I just look at it like this: the writers really write for the general audience, not people like us who tend to overanalyze things to within an inch of their life, and to the general audience, things we see coming a mile away are "twists." I could see them using that as a twist. One thing that has always been consistent about Arizona's character is that she understands and relates to kids way more than adults.
  18. That's what I mean by intentionally vague. If that was the case why not just say "between my girlfriend and my daughter?"
  19. The line in the scene with Meredith where Callie says she doesn't want to have to choose between a person she loves and another person she loves seemed to be intentionally vague. I'm sure most people (and Meredith) took it as choosing between Penny and Sofia, but the way I (and a few others I read) saw it was that she was talking about Penny and Arizona. In my mind, Callie thinks not having to see Arizona every day would help her "officially" get over her, and this was the perfect out strictly for Callie's selfish reasons, nothing else.
  20. She was going to during April and Jackson's ultrasound last week, but then Penny being on her service and the ultrasound glitch that required more tests happened, so Arizona never got around to it. She never asked anyone, Richard was just automatically on her side.
  21. So many people have complained over the years that Callie is always the finger pointing victim that is constantly screwed over. Shonda mentioned wanting to take that stigma away from her. It started early this season with Maggie calling Callie a bully and kind of climaxed with this episode. Callie played dirty so that she could hurt instead of getting hurt and it backfired.
  22. A name change for Sofia, maybe? In S7, Shonda said that Robbin Sloan were middle names, and only Torres was her last name, yet this season, they keep having her refer to Sloan Torres as her last names. Could just be bad writing, though.
  23. Maybe Jo went and got a marriage license for herself and Alex and she's been planning a wedding all along. Lol. I only hesitate on it being an Amelia/Owen wedding because Kevin was out and about with the fans when they were filming there, and while he was a little bit dressed up, he wasn't "groom" dressed up. I would think they would hide whoever would be getting married.
  24. Ah, thank you. I listened too much to the Callie/Arizona fans who got themselves worked up over "Shonda wrote it, so Sara's leaving." I saw an interesting thought that the Callie and Arizona might have to go through court ordered mediation and having to work through that is what causes the tension.
  25. What's interesting to me is that it says William Harper wrote it, not Shonda as was previously reported.
