  1. Jessica's sense of decorum in relation to being a bride at her wedding ceremony meeting her soon to be spouse for the first time, was as I described in my prior post. But that is my subjective observation. You've just given your subjective opinion on how you viewed her conduct. We are both seeing it differently and that's what makes watching this reality show so interesting....discussing each others viewpoints on each of these couples. You are right about it not being held at a church...I missed that info originally. I agree about Jessica's mom...LOL...she was really wound up.
  2. I don't think Ryan ever recovered from his poor first impression of Jessica. The manner in which Jessica conducted herself at their wedding was poor. Ryan seemed so disappointed with who the experts selected for him...it was easy to see in the way he was contemplating her looks & reacting to her endless hysteria. Her demeanor was not appropriate for a wedding. When she met Ryan at the altar she was practically humped over with giddiness...and her incessant laughter with her mouth wide open was in such poor taste for a church wedding. The minister even said something a couple of times...like this ceremonious occasion is to be taken seriously. Once she said this in a very loud voice..."Oh, this is going to be fun...this is going to be fun!!". As the ceremony ended and they posed for a quick pic at the altar, she did a thumbs up and mugged to the camera with her mouth hanging wide open once again. Then her comment to Ryan within minutes of the wedding ending, about the fun he'll have taking off her dress later that evening. He was absolutely stunned...but responded by saying...that's a nice dress. She also kept him waiting in front of the crowd at church for a full 30 minutes, due to having dress problems...that would seem like an eternity considering the situation.
  3. Jessica asked for a man in charge and she got that, but now she is unhappy about it. Watching them closely it's clear Jessica is the one that starts the arguments by lashing out at nearly all things Ryan says. For example when he politely said, "Maybe you could cook. But I don't want to beg" she blew-up over a simple request. She was the one that belittled Ryan by calling his actions "just crazy" when he said he ate out each day spending $50.00 each time. And now it's clear they are spending double that. Plus she was adamant about wanting to cook for them, not eat out. But she didn't mean that either...she was at the time of her offer simply taking another opportunity to put Ryan's down/make him look bad in comparison to her. She continues to be a master of the passive-aggressive personality type...she is winning at making Ryan look bad. Although the ratios on that statistic (Ryan vs. Jessica) are greatly narrowing after this last episode. And obviously he was angry when she blurted out that he was "down on cash". He has great pride on being perceived as well to do and she knows that. Also, she had already taken cash from their wedding money, but because he took more or just took some period she was mad...she wants and needs to wear the pants in a relationship.
  4. Jessica is excelling at putting Ryan in a very bad situation as far as perception goes. He has made countless kind gestures towards her and she flat out ignores or refuses each one. Even when they were entering their new apartment, he told her to put her suitcase down so he could carry it, but no, she made sure to carry it herself so she could make him look bad. Same thing with going through doorways...he always says...let me get the door for you. She has a passive-aggressive nature, which means she wants to always appear to be put upon by others so she looks good and they look bad. This was the case with ALL of her previous boyfriends...just as it is with Ryan. She wants people to view her as such a gentle, sweet, kind soul that others just walk all over. Poor thing. As far as the dresser/closet scene: Jessica already laid claim to an entire full closet, but she made Ryan look bad when he asked for the small bedroom closet. She snorted and chuckled...in an effort to show Ryan was walking all over her...blah, blah, blah. I cannot tolerate people like her. Anyway, she ended up getting an entire closet and the entire dresser.
  5. Jessica was adamant she wanted a "man that wore the pants in a relationship". She got that. She also told the experts she was the one wearing the pants in her previous relationship and it was a "big turn off". Now it seems clear she wants to be the person in charge of the relationship and resents that Ryan is a take charge kind of guy. Jessica is far too immature and self-involved for a marriage. It seems her parents spoiled her and she pouts when things don't go her way in life. When Ryan told her he needed the closet in the bedroom & she could have the entire dresser she pouted and got snotty about it. He told her she could have the other closet where she had already stored some of her clothes, but that wasn't good enough. He was giving her far more storage for her clothes than he was getting for himself. The bedroom closet was small & he had no dresser. She claims communication is key but she is a terrible communicator.
  6. Yes, I thought the same thing...on what was the point of telling Ryan the previous boyfriend's family didn't think she was good enough for their Son. Very strange. It's like she was looking for some reassurance from Ryan on her character...or just some compliments in general. She may be an insecure person and that is not good either in terms of building and maintaining stable relationships with others. Insecure people have issues that come out in many ways...none of which are generally positive.
  7. Jessica made it clear to the experts, specifically to Dr. Pepper, that she is a very emotional, sensitive woman...and added that she is also quite moody. So, how did these experts see Jessica, with these specific character/personality traits, as a "perfect match" for Ryan? A couple of people here mentioned how she responded to Ryan's comment on "Who's there?" when she knocked on his door. She rudely quipped, "Why say that?!" This is just one small example of why she irks me. She stated that her past failed relationships with men were "back to back to back". That signals she is likely the problem...and of course she could have been choosing the wrong men as well. But if a guy says something to Jessica that she doesn't approve it, it's likely that she will not let it go. An example of this was her reaction to Ryan's comment on her Monroe piercing. She could have just made light of it vs. going on and on about it to the point of driving him mad. Then when he returned she went on and on over how he had left and how she would never do such a thing. She is a difficult person...and they paired her with a guy that may lack maturity and has admitted anger problems. Jessica also seems to lack maturity. What an explosive, dysfunctional situation to put these two people in...for a marriage no less.
  8. Jessica can be annoying. Her endless panic attacks, her belittling of Ryan, her wide open mouth laughter...and it's so loud at the wrong times . She started the emasculating the second they left the wedding altar. He was in the process of opening a champagne bottle and she asks him if he can get it open....like he may need her strong self to assist him. Then her boldly telling him twice that he will need to assist her in getting her wedding dress off. The first time was immediately after their wedding, and the second time was when they entered their hotel. That obviously turned Ryan off...many men like the pursuit and she was the pursuer (she also came off as easy and trashy...not a great first impression). So, I think many of Ryan's actions are because he really isn't into Jessica at all. Not just because of the above stated observations, but also because he didn't like her looks when he first laid eyes on her...his look said it all...disappointment. I do realize much of what he is doing in terms of his joking actions are a result of his personality. Although he seems to be taking things to the extreme because he is unhappy with her.
  9. It's possible the reason for Sean's bullying was the other kids making the assumption he was gay. Kids can really be brutal. We have a family member that was brutally bullied until his 9th grade year for that same reason. It was a nightmare for him and like Sean, he did not fight back and did not tell family members. I does leave a lasting impact on their lives. Like Sean, this man is not gay but does have ways about him that may signal those thoughts in others. He loves women. And he is very sexual, like Sean. Jaclyn showed her abrasive, callous ways once again... What was the point of telling Ryan she wanted to run when she first saw him? That's just mean. She exudes masculine energy in a number of ways, but she obviously loves men. Takes all kinds to make up this world. Ryan/Jessica...he should have been paired with a more feminine, quieter woman. Jessica is bold & loud and doesn't seem to be his style. She interrupts him constantly. I believe he dislikes her (including her looks) and did so at first sight. So all of his actions are the result of his unhappiness with the woman the experts selected for him.
  10. Ryan's teeth are distracting...something isn't right. Out of curiosity I paused the show to get a good look at them while he was laughing and joking about "a man's sexual needs". The top 6 teeth are obviously some type of veneers that do not fit his gum line at all. They sit way above the gum line. It looks like these are the type of veneers one buys through a cheap online service...the stick-on teeth that people can buy to use for a day or two. The rest of his top teeth are very discolored and appear to be decayed. Those teeth are much, much smaller than his veneer teeth, so it seems clear a dentist did not do the work. The stick-on teeth probably contribute to him speaking without hardly moving his lips. What were the experts thinking with this couple?
  11. JACLYN has an aggressive personality, which would drive most men out the door Her look is hardened & mean. I feel for that little girl/Ryan's niece having to live with this woman's grating, rude & VERY disrespectful personality. An example of this is her pouring out Ryan's drink...on the floor...at their wedding...during their lst conversation...need I go on?! Oh, then she slapped him on the face just to show him who will be the boss in their relationship. She also informed him of her unwillingness to relocate. Something about her eyes suggests she is possibly a heavy drinker. The rough, hardened, glassy look...
  12. I find Courtney to be unbearable. I cannot stand to watch or listen to her incessant me, me, me, it's all about me...only me personality. Don't know how Jason can withstand married life with this lazy, narcissistic, whiny, selfish, sloppy, needy, kill-joy, weak woman. And yet Courtney believes she really is all that...how much can she boast about herself...every single talking head segment on this show shows her displaying this nauseating tendency. She has a warped sense of self. And that hair. It's always so stringy & messy...probably doesn't have the ambition to style or comb it...same issue also clearly applies to her housekeeping skills.
  13. It was sad to watch Alexis go through that with her sisters, but she is better for it now, despite their shunning treatment of her. I noticed Hannah is also demeaning to poor Joel as well. During their rare shopping event on last nights show, Hannah was taking over for Joel as he paid for the cute mustaches he chose to buy. Kate did tell Hannah to let Joel do it himself and Hannah said, NO, he gets confused. This has gone on for years between Hannah and Joel and it will surely cause him to develop low self esteem, which he seems to already exhibit. None of the girls except for Alexis listen to their mother. It was alarming to see how bad it has become.
  14. Taking into consideration the manner in which Kate has raised these 8 children to date, it is glaringly obvious her extreme militant parenting style was very ineffective. The boys are the exception to this observation...they are good kids and will hopefully stay this way. Because Alexis has been the cast out in the girls group (for years now) she seems to have taken on the boys personality traits, which is a good thing. Alexis has been shunned by Hannah and Leah in a sad, mean way, but that now appears to be in her favor as far as her future goes...in terms of good character traits which will take her far in life. Leah's comments to her mother were astoundingly abrasive and hateful. On last nights show she said this to Kate, "We all like each other, We just don't like you". Then it showed her, the twins and their friend huddled together bad mouthing Kate. My God, what a chaotic household that must be dealing with these nasty girls day in and day out. Kate, you should have taken parenting classes, but that may not have helped...considering personalities cannot be changed and your girls have all become reflections of you, their mother.
  15. Danielle is a cunning, manipulative, self-absorbed, selfish individual. She gets off on using others for her own gain, and that includes using her own children. She seems unable to actually feel concern or true compassion for anyone's welfare other than her own. When their electricity was shut off all she cared about was Mo leaving her...not about her kids welfare. The kids focus is entirely on their mother's needs and she has selfishly trained them to feel this way about her. When Mo has moved on, once he has his green card, she will once again focus her efforts on pursuing yet another delusional, unrealistic relationship with another man. It's got to be all about Danielle all the time. The only positive thing in all of this is the age of her children...they will soon be off on their own. All the best to them...considering what they have endured in their dysfunctional home life.
  16. Jason should have hosted the tell-all reunion show. He provided the best questions in terms of viewers interests in the couples. Far better and more insightful than the actual host. A couple of good questions he asked were: 1. Asking Evelyn if she still talked with Jen (the Darth Vader sister-in-law). Evelyn gave a good answer. 2. Asking Mohammed if he loved Daniella. He asked a few more which I can't think of right now. I really like Jason. I once dated a guy like him...and I can vouch for the fact that this type of man is a good lover, a deep thinker, has patience beyond the norm and is totally okay with living a lifestyle that's not the norm and having no shame in it. I also see Jason as a handsome guy. And I really enjoy his Dad's personality too.
  17. TO: THE FINAL ROSE...I do remember Chris doing so poorly during the Highland Games, then Emily feeling sorry for him and giving him the Rose for effort on that group date. LOL As far as Sarah...she seems to be the on air broadcaster/announcer on this show...giving her synopsis on each couple as they show the coupling and dates as they take place. But her voice! I find it nearly unbearable.
  18. When Chris was running to the ocean with Elise, I thought what is wrong with his legs and arms?! He looked malformed...and had a bumbling flat-footed uncoordinated type of run going on. It looked ridiculous and very unmanly. Then I remembered him in his Bachelorette season doing physical activities and it was not a good look for him at all. Anyway his gait running into the ocean showed him with a very strange arm/leg pattern of movement going on. His locomotion was off...quite unappealing...he did not have his sexy on at all. lol
  19. Robin's personality is so grating. She speaks for others, interrupts everyone (especially Cody), thinks she knows it all and continues to believe she is all that when clearly she is not. By looking at her choice of drab clothing & overall dull appearance, it's clear she has no taste in what looks appealing so I didn't understand how she could have the skills to be designing her "joowry" line & make the jewelry appealing and attractive for sales incentives. Then I looked at the website and realized she doesn't have that skill. Has anyone seen the mens' watches!? They look very cheap and are terrible in every way possible. It seems like her pointed chin is growing, because it is now even closer in range to her pointed hooked nose. Think wicked witch from the Wizard of Oz...the resemblance is uncanny.
  20. It was so precious when Zoey said, " More Egg, Yeah, Papa More Egg" and then nodded her head in the affirmative. She is darling. I really liked the way Bill set the whole dye the Easter Eggs activity up for those kids. And watching closely it's clear these parents know what they are doing and then some. They set forth many opportunities for Zoey & Will to employ decision making skills, which will carry them far in life. Bill did this while letting them choose their egg colors and even let them decide if their eggs were a deep enough color. Bill and Jen seem to never miss an opportunity for teachable moments...like negotiating with Will on getting the pictures taken before getting the ice cream sherbet treat. And what child wouldn't want an ice cream treat? It was a natural reaction when he recognized the truck and what they did as parents was very appropriate. Will has a zest for life...he is a precious little boy.
  21. Will's smile & demeanor can light up a room. A favorite moment during his party was when Jen asked Will and Zoey if they wanted some bubbles. Zoey said...yeah BUBBLES!! Then Will took his over by Bill who was eating at the time and blew some bubbles onto Bill's plate. Haha Bill said...What are ya doing man? Are you blowing bubbles onto my food? And then Will gave the cutest, most heartwarming smile & little boy giggle, as Bill laughed along with him. Those kids have an amazing life with Jen and Bill and their parenting skills are really shining through more and more with each episode. And all the children attending the party were so well-behaved. Much of that can be attributed to Jen's organizational skills...and her knowing how to keep all the attendees actively entertained, while they enjoyed Will's party. The cake was so perfect for Will, as it depicted his personality. The baker put a layer of frosting under the fondant...looked like whipping cream and then there was another type of layer under the whipping cream.
  22. Jen and Bill are doing an exemplary job of teaching their kids independence and decision making skills. These are important life skills that will take them far in their lives. Jen demonstrated this during her precious tea party with Zoey. She gave her choices and let Zory make those choices without questioning her...like putting the boa and hat on. Jen also doesn't sweat the small stuff or employ needless disciplinary actions...like when Zoey dropped the napkins purposefully and when Zoey threw the tea gloves on the floor. haha Jen also is quick witted. She made the cutest comments during their tea party...like let's go crazy, and yeah, let's class this party up after Zoey did the blow up fist pumps. And of course Jen did much talking during their little party...if she had not done so, there would have been lots of dead air time and TLC sure doesn't want that for the viewers. Jen and Bill do not cower over their children either, by being needlessly over-protective. It's clear the children have a wonderful time playing on their own too, like Zoey was doing in the kitchen drawer.
