So many great quotes here in the last two days, I don't know where to start. My mouth hung open wider than Abby's over that picture. That she secretly took and photoshopped and printed out a 4x6 to carry it openly at his workplace. WTH? Does Days change writers every few months because the writing goes back and forth so much. Nor do I keep up with the many interviews KM has given. Is she unaware how much she is hated? Since tomorrow is our Friday, it will be Jen Stalking Dan With The Invisible Suit. Did you see the look on her face when she hightailed it straight to the hospital to pick a fight with HIM? "Daniel listen to me! You betrayed our relationship when you didn't tell me the truth so I could judge everybody!" Sort of dreading this. A normal person (not Jen) would have had some regrets over not thinking it over for at least five minutes. I, too, live in fear and disgust over Jen's growing yearning for the priestly parts. And yes, that sofa discussion with Jen and Mar was very weird and creepy. The question is whether Dan and Nicole will be so hated by their other halves, that they strike their friendship back up. Apparently they were dating in real life so that makes me think - maybe. Lots to take in. CB is doing an amazing job but I blame EJ for being SO STUPID as to let Mar in the room. He knows what a freaked-out Gabi is capable of. And come on Mar, you just love yourself another reason to hate Sami. Please please please please get rid of Rafe and Jordan they have been useless for what, a year now?

I thought TWOP was going to leave their forums and recaps online, but inactive. I was trying to look up a few cooking shows on PBS that are pretty awful. They're out there but the link says the forum is offline :(

I noticed it too. I would also have said "I did that" but I study other languages and it's affecting my English so I say "that" way too often. Gabi is bilingual and saying I did "it" in Spanish would be a different sentence structure. It would be "it I did" rather than "I did that". Overthinking, I know. jmho.

Jen's a bible thumper in real life who hates gays and god knows what else.. Yes, I'm saying it and her judgment shows through to her acting and that's why we hate her. Yeah, must be awful to be rich and miserable.

I completely disagree NB had any chemistry with anyone. I suffered through those years where she spoke so slowly I'd fall over out of boredom. She has blue eyes, great, but the overly short skirts didn't impress me. I will never watch another scene with her if she comes back. She lied to Lucas and she lied to Dan. I want to hug Lucas every time I see him. He's Kate's good son, just as Will is Sami's good son.

Hmm, I guess that's my unpopular opinion then, but I think she elevates everyone in her scenes. Even people I don't like. A lot of these people aren't good actors but I think AZ is. Is she at a low point now? Definitely.

That's the magic of AZ. She has chemistry with everybody.

Looks like Days won't be on Thursday or Friday for tennis. It's Sunday but I'm still annoyed by Thurday's show with Rafe and Jordan kissing the park AGAIN, with the dainty music letting us know how pure their love is. Blech. I thought maybe Rafe was there to play a part in Gabi's confession, but no. So I'm doubly annoyed that those scenes were useless and had NOTHING to do with any storyline. I stopped caring about Jordan's secret six months ago and Sami's brief foray into domestic housewife-land with Rafe was boring beyond belief. I forgot about Stan. Thank you!

Oops, sorry. I meant Brady. As far as John I think he jets in for a couple of days at a time so I assume he lives in a hotel like Nicole does. I have no idea why she always lives in a hotel. It looks like Theresa got Sami's old apartment, I recognize the glass tile backsplash.

John's related by marriage to Victor because Isabella (Izzy-b) is Brady's mother. That's why the 40 yr old 15 yr old still lives there.

It was actually mustard, burgandy and a crocheted plum or eggplant layer. I hate to tell you this, but that was a thing in the 70's so I sort of understood the colors but I don't think anyone other than Janis Joplin wore bells that big.. But we know Jen was no hippie in the 70's and it just made her look old and fake. Rory is like a puppy, he's not the brighest crayon in the box but he sure jumps at shiny things. I think he resents JJ spending time with his gf and not his buddies anymore, this has been going on well before Paige. I hope Paige and Rory find out neither of their home lives are so great and strike a friendship. Like others, I'm stoked Paige saw through Bev immediately and I hope there's room for a friendship there, too. Could be a great summer with these kids if it's true. I like Rory, I'd love to see him delivering pizzas all over town. To the Dimeras for instance and inadvertently picking up vital information during one of their vase throwing arguments. Randomly walking through a scene with a pizza bag would crack me up to no end.

Supposedly SC took an elbow to the mouth resulting in 5 stitches, and I don't normally go around looking for Days news. I was hoping (and posted) it was wild sex, too bad Days couldn't go there. But then again there's that ewwww factor. John dumped the vodka because he wants Brady to straighten out, and Brady is messed up because John wants him to fly off in the jet 'cause Kid we're gonna go git Kristen together. Grunt. Eyebrow. Chin. I'd drink too. I'm glad we were spared Jen shrieking "listen to me!" to Eric and we didn't have to see his humiliation. The only redeeming factor that Jen spilled the beans, is that it occurred off camera. I appreciate that because we could all write the script. Nice move, Days. The closest thing I saw to Gabby confessing was telling Hope not to send crime scene investigators to look for evidence of the gun. They were heading off to the police department because Hope told Gabby Will was there. I sure hate to give the SPD credit, but Hope knew Will didn't do it, Sonny was being truthful, and the ballistics didn't match Kate's registered gun. Hope was pretty damned sympathetic while Gabby was basically saying goodbye to her baby. So she didn't have to confess immediately. Gabby did an amazing job having to view Nick's still-warm body. Still, piss poor ending to have an actor we know is leaving commit the crime. At least it's over.

Yes, Sami has to destroy that portrait before she leaves! John Aniston is 80 so I'm pretty sure he's semi retired and happy to do the fantastic cameos they give him. Charlotte Ross is 46, it looks like the actress they're bringing in will be closer in age to a big sister to Theresa, who said a while back on the show she is 27 (which makes her interest in hs JJ pretty creepy but I think it's more of a control thing). Still, I don't understand why they would want to reintroduce Eve or how she will be relevant. Other than maybe they want this particular actress. I don't read spoilers. I don't even remember how Eve is related to the Donovans, just that she was with really shady characters. Who will ever forget Nurse Kayla removing Steve's patch and showing him to trust her?

I've been putting this off but I've been watching Days since probably 1979 when I was lucky enough to only get morning classes my senior year and ditched the rest of the day. In college my bf and our friends were big fans. Days almost lost me during Marlena's possession. I stopped watching for almost a year during the Colleen story so I don't know who John Black is supposed to be, and I really don't care. I don't have cable or a dvr so thank goodness for Hulu, but I try to catch the shows live. These days I don't have any live fans to snark with and I got SO SICK of repetitive FB comments. I'm happy the Days page has so many likes, anything to make the show more popular is fine with me, but they'll get thousands of comments that boil down to "I hate ______" "Bring back Belle and Shawn" "Eric and Nicole are a supercouple!" and "Where's Bo?" 2 years after he left. So I rediscovered TWOP two weeks before they shut down :(. I never commented there but back in the day I read every Alias recap TWOP put out. I hoped someone on the Days forum would say where we were all going to go and I'm happy to be here with such a group of insightful, hilarious people who read each other's comments. The laughs really help because I am going through a very tough time right now. I'm one of the 2.7 million people whose unemployment was cut off at the first of the year. My son's father passed away after a long illness this spring and missed his college graduation in May. I finally have health ins but can't get in to see a dr. Sometimes I try to explain to people how great it is to watch actors over a generation. I am a huge fan of Sami since I've watched that girl since she came on the show at 16. Arianne Z is a great actress; it's too bad how the writers destroyed her by needing the Priestly Parts (thanks, boes). I think Jen Lilly is a great actress and I like JJ too. Love Sonny and Victor. Blake Beris is an actor we'll see more of in the future. I loved to hate him. My unpopular opinion is I like Sami and EJ together, even though I think Lucas is the love of her life. Their relationship reminds me of my ex and I, and our son. I don't blame EJ for leaving, he has movie star looks and the writers have had him playing 100 different personalities. I mean, what other show do you watch for (yikes) 35 years? I'll snark all day about Jawn and Mar, and Jen and Abs, but it will be a sad, sad day when this comes to an end.

Boes, I've stopped counting the coffee-spewed keyboards you owe me! I've been wondering if Jenn naturally has pretty coarse hair and that flat, crispy look comes from over straightening, but that Mad Men look did nothing for her. I think we all hate Abby's bun if only because it makes her mouth gape open even more, if that's possible. Honest to god I can't stand looking at that girl's open mouth anymore. I happened to hear that "bohemian" will be popular this fall, I think that's where the bellbottoms are coming from. I love the grey blouse Gabby is wearing. Aside from the blanket/shirt the other day she usually looks great. Too great for a single mother/student who only just began working again. On Gabby the blouse looks age appropriate. In fact she had an angelic glow on her face, basically saying goodbye to her daughter. I didn't hate Hope in that scene either.

I guess someone thinks the grey looks manly and he's used to wearing black? Ever since Eric defrocked he looks and acts like a ten year old boy. It's creepy. As handsome as he is, it's apparent he gained a lot of his manliness through the preist robes. It makes Nicole look that much more pathetic. Someone here (Boes?) said, don't put testosterone and Eric in the same sentence. I also noticed Dan's necklace again today too. What is that, a nickel washer on a black cord? You know that cord smells by now. Jen should do what I did (to an ugly watch) and just tear the thing off and say NO. And his hair is getting stragglier and stragglier. Combing it forward isn't going to work much longer. See: Jawn.

I think it's a great point that EJ is phoning it in. I can't blame tall, dark and handsome for his low hairline though. Yes, KM is trying and it makes me think they actually casted her true to life. Naive, full of herself. She believes the whole thing just as Abby does. They've done that with other stupid characters too like Dan and Brady and John. I doubt they're playing outside of their comfort zone. Jen Lilly is a treasure. I screamed at the telly while they focused on unblinking Brady with the wind blowing through his head, while Teresa was delivering an emmy performance. It's not about doing an entire vial of blow at a sitting. It's about maintaining - what did she say? - smooth as glass. A little booze, a little bump. And that's my unpopular opinion.

He couldn't stand Nick either, even in front of huge frozen MaggieFace.. I've been thinking about the scene between Victor and Sonny Didn't he promisie to help out?

Oh good lord Abby is stupid. I agree many threats are in order, although Abby might actually like the attention knowing her. Time for EJ to stop jumping everytime she pulls his, um, chain. It was months ago. Tell her mommy? You mean the one who spent 5 min with you after Nick died? I thought they were dragging it out because of the possibility of pregnancy but wasn't that supposed to come out this month during the wedding. There was going to be a wedding in May, right Sami?? I LOVED the way Jordan shut down Abby's blathering about whatever and said she had to go. Everybody should just walk away from her.

I was so hoping they would admit Dr Grope's split lip was a sex accident, but noooo. I might even have liked them a little for it, until I wondered if it was Jen's knee or foot... Then I just wanted to stop thinking about it. Otherwise we're supposed to think he took her into the bedroom then she decided to look for some bag that fell on him? I don't know. That's somewhat plausible given the bubble Jen lives in. Dan might have been so happy to have her out of those paisley pants he didn't mind being ordered around. John with his "Doc!" "Kid!". I've been ranting about Marlena for a while, and she absolutely regards her family as a science experiement but damn that felt good when she told John he has to realize there's nothing for him in Salem SO GO AWAY. He's had few lousey scenes in the last couple of weeks and I could write paragraphs about my hate for him. Roman can't handle any investigation because nobody can understand a word he says. What's more boring though, inept Cop Voice or passive aggression with Aiden? I guess they have to give her something to do while her bad seed plans her next extortion. More Theresa, less Abby.

I never really thought Nicole was going to have a wedding. Nicole's desperate lying all day yesterday puts her in the running for dumbest of the day. I don't recognize her at all anymore but I blame the writers. Honorable mention to Marlena. She hands out yet another stupid referral card, this time to Rafe. While he doesn't have the intelligence of a toaster (and I suspect the guy is pretty much playing himself) I was happy he said ummm, Marlena how about if you actually do something and go see her? Unbelievably, Marlena's response is well, sure, I guess so, I think of her as family. DUH, she's the mother of your great grandchild. OTOH Marlena's practice seems to entirely consist of hypnotising people or interrogating them at the pub, so maybe it's a good thing she has no patients.

I'd like to mix things up a little and nominate Marlena, starting with the blank, disinterested yet judgmental look on her face through the past two episodes. What does a supposedly respected psychiatrist do upon hearing her granddaughter witnessed the aftermath of a brutal shooting? Hand Sami a stupid referral card, say something about children being resiliant, but don't assure the child's mother your next stop will be to go comfort her young daughter. I mean, wtf? Instead, she can't wait to play the recording of Nick for an upset Hope without bothering to warn her about the gunshots at the end! I guess I'm just happy John showed up just long enough to remind us of his stupidity, then apparently left again. Because I wouldn't be able to watch scenes with the two of them grunting and gasping at each other right now.
