  1. Guess it's baby Aspartame now! Dr. Drew might have gone along with letting Leah pretend like she's a good parent, but the editors sure aren't pulling any punches at this point.
  2. Whoa, I hadn't noticed it being as pronounced until this episode, I must not have been looking very closely! I hardly ever read about the moms online, so I do miss the boat sometimes! My brother is getting married in a few months and his fiance had all the bridesmaids pick any dress from David's in her specified color - the one Cate's bridesmaids wore is hanging in my closet in blue!
  3. Am I crazy, or do Sophia's eyebrows look like they've been waxed?
  4. Farrah says she wants a male version of herself to date. I hope she find him and gets to experience that joy!
  5. Ryan's buddy Steven can stay! Loved the judgmental look after Ryan's dismissive attitude about missing Bentley's first day. Maybe he'll never start actually caring about being a parent though, in which case it really isn't a big deal! Farrah, just ew in general. It's past my bedtime so I'll have to finish tomorrow, but that's the one sentiment I know will be true no matter what!
  6. To me Sophia looks a lot like Debra, but with Farrah's coloring. I think I'd find her much cuter if she didn't take after Farrah's behavior! Can't blame her (yet) though, with that kind of Tooth Fairy money, who wouldn't be entitled? Interesting to hear Leah say about Amber what a lot of people have been pointing out here for so long. I liked Gary for once when Amber was insisting she didn't want Leah to stay if she didn't want to, and he responded that they can't give her everything she wants. Nice to hear that from one of these fine parents!
  7. I totally agree! When they said they were going shopping in New York I was surprised that Mark would have gone for that at all, but compared to some of the dresses they undoubtedly could have found on that trip, $2300 is not that huge of a number. It's true that it wouldn't have been practical for the beach anyway, but it was up to Mark to set a budget and find a store that would have been within the price range he wanted. With the exchange rate she was explaining while looking at the $10 dresses, it sounds like any dress would seem expensive in comparison, so it's not like she would know what's considered extravagant. He was a real dick about the whole thing.
  8. Mark said to her that she needed to talk to a lawyer on her own, and I doubt his own lawyer would call Mark's own pre-nup garbage, so it did seem like the meeting was legit. Unfortunately from the way Nikki explained it in her TH, it sounded like she didn't really understand that the lawyer told her to negotiate, only that he said she shouldn't sign it and should talk to Mark. She clearly felt pressured into signing though. ETA: What everyone else said! Sorry if this is redundant now!
  9. Those Calvin Kleins Carolina found looked like men's underwear to me! The trip to see Kyle's mom was very uncomfortable to watch and I hope was not influenced by producers. I wonder if he really hadn't told Noon anything. I didn't like him for the first few weeks, but Kyle really does seem to have made some growth (or gotten a gradually positive edit), and their wedding was really nice. Noon looked amazing! I feel bad for Nikki particularly because she seems so isolated with Mark, but that lawyer laid it out for her plain as day and she chose to sign the pre-nup anyway. She said she felt like she didn't have a choice, but damn if going back to the Philippines wouldn't seem like a great choice to me if I were her. I don't know what her life was like before, but Mark just seems awful to be around, let alone marry. Listening to Loren's parents talk about the bachelorette party situation further helps explain Loren's own behavior. Even when her mom was somewhat criticizing her, both of them framed it in a way that really put Alexei at fault for not trusting Loren. No wonder she always seems to brush off his feelings! I felt bad for Loren's sister, she seemed uncomfortable with just about everything she was involved in this week. I feel like we haven't seen much of Mel and Devar the past couple of weeks, but I loved the interaction between Devar and Hunter, they are really sweet together. Even if his intentions aren't 100% genuine, he does seem to really try.
  10. Kyle brining Noon to the Buddhist temple this week and talking about it as a wedding venue was very sweet. I haven't been a fan of his, but he definitely is showing more effort as time goes on. He's obviously very uncomfortable about his relationship with his parents, but that's something that Noon has a right to know about as his future wife. Hopefully he'll have disclosed the rest off-camera. Loren, ew, again. The most she could muster was that Alexei's potential modeling career wasn't worth starting a fight over? How about you want him to feel happy and fulfilled in his career, and not just do it because you're pressuring him? I'm glad he stood up for himself, but the way she was pouting and carrying on for so long before giving in does not bode well for future issues. Run, Alexei! Nikki and Elise were so awkward, but even in their apparently short time together, Elise saw what we're all seeing, which is that for a woman about to get married, Nikki seems miserable and should probably call this off and go home. Mark was so full of it when Nikki finally brought up his talking about his "past" - maybe he genuinely doesn't realize how much he's comparing Nikki to his ex, but he hardly acknowledged it and was not particularly apologetic, either. It's pretty sad to think that he hasn't been married to his ex in around 20 years (judging by Elise's age) and is not only still living in the past, but pulling his new fiance into it as well. Fernando's mom, I can't even. Carolina showed a lot of restraint with all the shit she was saying about Colombians. I can't imagine anyone could tolerate that for long, though. Maybe Fernando is used to this behavior and doesn't realize how offensive an outsider would find it, but he had plenty of opportunities to stand up for Carolina and took none of them that we saw.
  11. Except when it comes to treating his fiance like his child! I don't know who was more gross this week - Mark talking about how his songbird isn't singing anymore or Loren gushing about how "delicious" Alexei is. Misery, so attractive! Good for Kyle and Noon getting a livable apartment, but she's still way too good for him. I have yet to notice anything particularly compelling about his personality. It seems this season like everyone would be better off if all of these relationships ended.
  12. This. It's totally disgusting. When Jenelle was yelling at Barb about how she would have felt if her children were taken out of her care, I was so hoping Barb would say "ashamed", which is how Jenelle ought to feel about the whole situation, rather than carrying on like an ungrateful asshole.
  13. Thanks to those who replied about kiddie life insurance! It sounds like it's more common than I thought, but also really not that expensive, so Javi mentioning it remains dumb as rocks.
  14. To me it seems more like her demeanor around Nathan is totally different, like she's trying to make sure she's being agreeable. The way she just sort of glanced at him and then didn't say anything when they were asked about having put hands on aside from when they pressed charges, and her noncommittal nodding about Barb doing a good job with Jace appear to me like trying to avoid saying anything Nathan won't like.
  15. Jenelle, you traumatized Dr. Drew! Really sad and disappointing seeing her watch all those clips, and the takeaway is how sad she was about Nathan leaving her. I don't keep up with much news about them outside of the show, and it really seemed like she was turning a corner at the end of last episode, acknowledging how bad they are for each other, but I guess that didn't last. Jenelle makes terrible decisions and should not have primary custody of either of her kids, but Nathan is downright scary and his emotional manipulation is way more calculated and malicious than anyone else on the show.
  16. Javi is so deluded. Obviously you were jealous of who Kail was talking to and you felt insecure, and no, Isaac did not appear to "love" soccer. Seemed more like indifference at best! Also, is it normal for a five-year-old to have life insurance? I'm not a parent, so maybe that's typical, but I've never heard of that.
  17. Just caught the end of this South Park earlier - they must have known Dr. Drew would be on tonight!
  18. I think they need to replace Dr. Drew on the reunion special with all of Jenelle's lawyers.
  19. Not to defend Jenelle for anything, but to be fair, he yelled at her for coming to his GYM TIME, and then followed her home to "talk" so he could berate her more. If he doesn't want to be around her, he shouldn't be at the house starting fights. Corey and Jeremy, A+, would watch again. Corey and Miranda should just move Jeremy and Addy into their house!
  20. I bet Jenelle purposely didn't change out of her scrubs to go to mediation. She probably thought it would make her look more responsible if it was obvious she was dressed for a job. Unfortunately that surely went out the window as soon as she opened her mouth to trash Barb for feeding, clothing and housing her kid!
  21. "Mommy's at the doctor getting fixed" - if only, Dawn, if only. Sad for the girlses that they have to go through separating with Leah again, but they all get to hang out with their responsible parent for a whole month! I don't understand the child-support quibbles they're having. I understand the idea of getting what's owed to you regardless of how much you already have coming in (from MTV in large quantities, in their case), but multiple thousands of dollars a month sounds insane to me. I know kids are expensive, but I can't imagine how many people with average-paying jobs could afford that. If the reason all of them are making enough that a judge would want them to pay that kind of money is their TM2 money anyway, then why argue, because they're all getting that! ETA: I am psyched for Corey and Jeremy getting together next week!
  22. Kail, you're not on House Hunters, please never say "open concept" again.
  23. Astounding the amount of denial on display this week, and the lack of responsibility any of them take for their mistakes (Chelsea excluded, as usual). Sad to see Taylor sucked back in to whatever it is Adam does to get any woman to give him the time of day. Nathan had his one moment of saying something reasonable to Jenelle last week, so of course now he comes back with extra crazy this week! He definitely did seem high, or in the midst of some kind of manic episode when he came back from his "business trip". The fact that she doesn't seem at all fazed by his belittling her during every argument is just sad. Jeremy was pretty mature in the way he was talking about Leah, despite the smirking when he was talking to his friend. He could certainly be approaching it more maliciously and instead he's still showing genuine regret and concern over what's happened to Leah and their relationship.
  24. Yes! I hadn't seen Jeff and Eva's episode, but I saw EJ and Laura's very shortly before this premiered and was so looking forward to them finally meeting up! They were a great team, so I'm hoping we'll get some former-partner time next week.
  25. It was nice having an episode with relatively little drama, more focused on the survival aspect. It'll be interesting to see how they figure out divvying up the work and food. My idea would be for them to split into two hunting groups, so they'd only have to share any kills amongst four people at a time. Seems like there should be enough fish, etc, for them to all have enough, but they need to figure out what the best ratio is for everyone to do a fair share of work and still have enough to divide evenly.
